To participate in VITMEE counselling, students must meet following -

  • Must have 60% or equivalent in their 10th/12th or diploma
  • Must have qualified entrance test and have a valid scorecard
  • Candidates with GATE scores are also eligible for admission

Vellore Institute of Technology will conduct VITMEE counselling online and is common for all VIT campuses.

Vellore Institute of Technology will release the VITMEE seat allotment result based on scores secured in VITMEE. Admissions to M.Tech courses are also done based on GATE score. Authorities will allot seats to candidates based on choices filled at time of choice filling.

Candidates declared qualified based on the results will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. Candidates appearing in the VITMEE counselling process have to carry documents given below at the allotted institute. 

  • X and XII Std. Marks statement. 

  • Marksheets of all semesters/years of the qualifying examination upto pre-final/final year as applicable. 

  • Qualifying degree/Provisional certificate. 

  • Transfer/Migration/College leaving certificate obtained from the Institute last studied.  

  • Service certificate issued by the Employer.  

  • Community certificate (only for SC/ST categories). 

  • Conduct certi
