The VITMEE result scorecard will have following details -

  • Name of candidate
  • Roll number
  • Date of birth
  • Candidate category
  • Overall marks obtained in exam
  • Rank and candidate's qualifying status

The scorecard of VITMEE is valid for one year only.

VITMEE counselling will take place after the completion of the exam. Candidates who have qualified VITMEE exam will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. Selection will be based on the rank obtained in CBT. During counselling process, selected candidates can give option for academic qualification eligibility, campus, programme and fee category.

Vellore Institute of Technology will release the VITMEE seat allotment result based on scores secured in VITMEE. Admissions to M.Tech courses are also done based on GATE score. Authorities will allot seats to candidates based on choices filled at time of choice filling.

Applicants can refer to the VITMEE admission process below.  

  • The first step is to pay INR 1200 application fee in online mode.  

  • Applicants should register for VITMEE, a Computer Based Objective test at indicated test centres.  

  • The list of short-listed candidates will be published on the website or personal SMS will be sent to the registered mobile number for online VITMEE counselling.  

  • Shortlisted Candidates will be asked to choose the preference of campus and branch. Selected candidates will have to pay an advance payment of INR 1 lakh.  

  • Candidates who fail to pay in advance before the dead
