VNIT Nagpur - Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology

VNIT-Nagpur invites various public and private sector organizations for campus recruitment of final year students. During the academic year 2016-17, more than 100 companies visited the campus. These included all the major companies like Morgan Stanley, L & T Group, Bajaj Auto, Qualcomm India Pvt Ltd, Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Hyundai Mobis, John Deere, AVAYA India, Godrej Industries, Vedanta Ltd; Hindalco, Ashok Leyland, Amazon, Citicorp Finance India Ltd., JP Morgan, ABB, and many more. All these companies offered 543 jobs UG & PG students (458 UG & 85 PG) as on 30th June 2017.
Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology were able to place 75 of the total number of Mechanical students in their recent placements.

Hi,
The placements of VNIT CSE are the best, as compared to the other departments/branches. Many top companies, like Morgan Stanley, Amazon, etc. visit here every year. The packages are not that high, as compared to CSE of IITs or CSE of top NITs, but still better than that of some other NITs, and the private colleges. Youll definitely get a job, with a decent package, at a reputed company. Moreover, the NIT tag, as well as the reputed company tag, would further enhance your growth in the future.
Unfortunately, the scope of getting international packages is negligible or almost null. No international offer has been made this year or for the past 3 years. But many students go abroad to pursue a Master's degree. Also, most of the students would find it easy to get an international job in near future, due to the reputation of the college (More than half of the students graduated in the 1990s are currently settled abroad).
