Since the level of WBJEE is similar to the 12th class qualifying exam, the candidates should refer to their 12th books to prepare for the exam. Additionally, the students have to check NCERT books to be prepared. Candidates can also check books which present the topics and concepts to be studied in more detail to have more knowledge to score well in the entrance exam.

During the tie-breaking system, the authorities will follow the guidelines specified officially. If all of the guidelines in the given order fail to break the tie, then finally, the candidate older in age will be given a higher rank than the candidate who is younger.

Yes, you can get admission to the B.E./B.Tech course in IMPS College of Engineering & Technology without WBJEE. Though 80% of seats are available through WBJEE and 10% through JEE Main (AIEEE), the 10% of seats are available under the Management Quota and not a WBJEE or JEE Main score. But you still have to fulfill the minimum qualification requirements: clearing 10+2 with a minimum of 45% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (40% for SC/ST) and a minimum of 30% in English.

Admission to Government College of Engineering and Ceramic Technology B.E./B.Tech courses is mostly on the basis of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE). Direct admission without WBJEE is not usually possible for regular seats. But in case of some vacant seats remaining after WBJEE counseling rounds, decentralized counseling (mop-up round) may be conducted by the college for domiciled candidates of West Bengal, yet even in that case, a valid WBJEE merit rank is mandatory. There is no such provision for admission based only on Class 12 marks or other national examinations like JEE Main for normal intake.

You will not be able to secure admission into B.E./B.Tech at Netaji Subhash Engineering College without sitting for an entrance exam. The college demands that the candidates possess a valid score in WBJEE or JEE Main for B.Tech admission, and then it goes through counseling. Direct admission without these entrance examinations is not allowed in the B.Tech course. The eligibility also requires passing 10+2 with at least 45% aggregate marks in the required subjects. All the shortlisted applicants have to undergo the counseling process and satisfy the specified criteria for final admission.

The WBJEE exam is conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB). It is conducted for admission to BTech in almost all colleges in West Bengal, not only for the Gargi Memorial Institute of Technology. The results for the exam for admission in 2025 are expected to be released in July 2025.

No, WBJEE is not compulsory for admissions to BTech courses at Aliah University. The university accepts the relevant scores of WBJEE/ JEE Mains/ AUAT for admissions to undergraduate engineering courses. Moreover, candidates with relevant scores in any of the entrance examinations can enroll in the BTech course. Hence, WBJEE is not compulsory, but it is one of the accepted entrance exams for admissions to the BTech course at Aliah University.
