Yes, you are eligible for writing WBJEE and also for getting admission in JU.
Candidates from any state of India can appear for the examination. A domicile certificate is required only to claim reservations and for government institutions.
Yes, candidates from other states can also apply for WBJEE 2023, but they need to fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned by the WBJEEB

Yes. Candidates who have participated in the previous rounds of WBJEE counselling will have to pay an additional fee of INR 200. However, for fresh registration, the candidates will have to pay a counselling fee of INR 1,000. The WBJEE counselling fee has to be paid online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. If the candidates fail to pay the fee before the final date, then they will not be registered for the counselling process.

Yes, you can directly enter round 2.
Step 1: Go to the official website of WBJEEB, wbjeeb.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the "WBJEE Counselling 2023" tab.
Step 3: Click on the "New Candidate Registration" button.
Step 4: Enter your WBJEE/JEE Main roll number, application form number, candidate name, date of birth, and security pin
Registration is mandatory for counselling and admission. A non-registered candidate will NOT be allotted any seat in any round under any circumstances. Registration is allowed only at the beginning of 1st round.

WBJEE counselling mop-up round is an additional round of counselling that is held to fill out the vacant seats. All registered and unregistered candidates who have qualified WBJEE will be eligible for the mop-up counselling. To participate in the mop-up round, the candidates will have to register and fill out their choices. For fresh registrations, a fee of INR 1000 has to be paid online. Candidates who have participated in the previous rounds have to be pay an additional fee of INR 200. The registration process also has to be completed before the final date.

Yes. Candidates will be allowed to freshly register for the mop-up round of WBJEE counselling. After the completion of the first two WBJEE counselling rounds, the candidates will be able to register for the mop-up round online. For fresh registrations, INR 1000 has to be paid. Other candidates will have to pay a fee of INR 200 online to be registered for the mop-up round. Already registered candidates will also be able to edit/modify their previously filled choices. The process has to be completed before the final date, that will be announced online by the authorities.

Counselling/allotment of seats/admission will be done basis the GRM WBJEE Rank only.
Tech colleges located across the state of West Bengal. Since the number of participants of the WBJEE exam exceeds one Lacs every year, 10,000-25,000 can be considered to be a good rank in the entrance exam.
However, if the rank of the candidate exceeds 30,000, the chances of securing admission in Round 2 counselling are high. There are many WBJEE participating colleges that offer admission to students whose ranks fall between 25,000 to 50,0000.

According to WBJEE Eligibility 2024, candidates must have passed Class 12th with minimum 45% marks or equivalent qualification examination. However, a student appearing for Class 12th examination in 2021 can also appear for WJEE 2024.
Students who are allotted seats after each round of WBJEE counselling need to pay the acceptance fees. The payment of the acceptance fee will be accepted in the online mode only. Candidates have to make the payment of Rs. 5000/- as WBJEE seat acceptance fee.

While preparing for WBJEE JELET, the candidates are advised to create a personalized timetable to help them achieve their desired results. The timetable should cover all of the subjects and topics that need to be studied before the examination date. However, the topics should be divided in such a manner that it does not feel monotonous. The timetable should also provide ample time for mock tests and revision. It is very important for the candidates to create the timetable as per their aptitude.

The WB ANM GNM admit card release date has been announced in the official notification. The WB ANM 2025 hall ticket will be issued on October 10, 2025, and it can be downloaded till the exam day i.e., October 19, 2025. The hall ticket is an important document that candidates must carry to the examination hall. Without it, entry was restricted, and no candidate was allowed to appear for the exam.
