WBJEE JELET exam pattern is released online. Exam will have two categories. Category I have 1 mark questions and Category II have 2 mark questions. There are 80 questions in Category I and 20 questions in Category II.

The authorities will release the WBJEE JELET exam pattern online at wbjeeb.nic.in. Candidates will be able to access all details related to the entrance examination through the WBJEE JELET exam pattern. No other mode will be used by the authorities to make the WBJEE JELET exam pattern available. Through the exam pattern, the candidates will be able to understand how the exam will be held and accordingly prepare for it. As per the official exam pattern of WBJEE JELET, the authorities will conduct the exam as a pen-and-paper-based test.

The cutoff trend has been fluctuating over the past years for IEM Kolkata admission for the General AI category. In 2024, the highest rank accepted was 44378. In 2023 and 2022, the maximum ranks admissible were 92292 and 31027, respectively.
Note: This is the cutoff for the General AI category in the last round. Other categories, rounds, etc, will have different cutoffs.

Yes, since WBJEE cutoff is prepared after considering various factors including candidate's category, cutoff will be different for every category, college and course. For higher chance of admission, candidates will be required to meet the minimum cutoff as determined by authorities. According to cutoff trends, WBJEE cutoff is expected to be higher for general category as compared to reserved category and for popular BTech courses.

The authorities will prepare the WBJEE cutoff after considering various factors related to the entrance examination. Some of the important factors that will be considered for the WBJEE cutoff are - previous years' cutoff trends, total number of candidates, number of seats available, difficulty level of the examination, etc. The candidates will have to note that the WBJEE cutoff will vary as per the category, course and colleges that are selected by them.
