For undergraduate admissions, Western Illinois University generally requirement a minimum GPA of 2.75 or higher, on a scale of 4.0. For postgraduate programs, the university requires a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a scale of 4.0. The GPA requirements highly depends on the programme the applicant is choosing. No, the Western Illinois University does not mandatorily require ACT/SAT scores for undergraduate admissions of international students. Western Illinois University follows a test-optional policy, hence, for admissions, it just considers academic and English language proficiency requirements. However, it a student possess ACT/SAT scores, they may submit those as per their programme of choice.
