The four sections in XAT 2018 are:Quantitative AbilityEnglish Language & Logical Reasoning Decision Making GK & Essay
CAT, SNAP and CMAT don't have decision making section and essay. Decision-making section consists of questions based on case studies where candidates are required to give their opinion. Keeping the above in mind, here are few tips for XAT 2018:
1. Make a strategy and stick to it. Don't deviate from your study plan.
2. Do not start preparing with any section you wish to. First, analyse your previous exam /mo

First of all decide which institute and which specialisation you want. After that, look for the exams such as MAT, XAT, CAT, CMAT, ATMA, CET, NMAT, etc. and see which all exams, institute will accept for admissions and prepare accordingly.

Hi,
XAT takes applicants for Xavier's institutes across India.
SNAP for Symbiosis, NMAT for all three NMIMs across India. Although XAT score is also accepted in other colleges, you can say it's better to appear for XAT along with the others to be on safe side.

Hello Deepak,
XAT is a more challenging exam as compared to MAT, and requires a lot of focus and dedicated preparation to clear it with a very good score. Also, a lot of reputed B-schools like XLRI, SP Jain, etc. accept XAT scores, thus making it more important than MAT.
