An Indian applicant can surely join Yale University provided he or she meets all their admission requirements.

This entails completing one of their accepted applications Coalition, Common, or QuestBridge, paying the application fees, acquiring teacher and counselor recommendations, and a school report with transcripts. Also, these applicants need to prove their proficiency in English in a standard test such as TOEFL and fulfill other requirements.

Good academics along with cocurriculars surely help his/her case. Yale may be tough to crack, but even then, serious applicants with diverse profiles stand a good chance of making it.
