YCMOU Nashik admissions are primarily merit-based. The university offers more than 50 UG, PG, doctorate, diploma, and certificate programmes across multiple streams (in the distance education mode) via the eight schools. For Maharashtra State Candidates :- Candidates completed graduation/post graduation with Science and Mathematics/Social Science/Humanity Science/Commerce from any recognised institute/university are eligible to apply.

Candidates of Reserved category with 45% marks are eligible to apply. OR

Candidates completed graduation/post graduation with 55% marks in Engineering and Technology/Management/ Computer Science/Law/Information Technology/Agriculture/Bachelor of Banking & Insurance/Medical Sciences/All Social Science/Fine ART/Performing ART from any recognised institute/university are eligible to apply.

Admission to this course is based on candidates' performance in Common Entrance Test (CET) also known as YCMOU CET. To be eligible candidates must have completed a UG degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate. For admission at YCMOU, candidates must fill out the application form through YCMOU’s official website by paying the required application fee for final submission. Candidates whose marks in the qualifying examination are under the specified range mentioned in the cutoff list or for courses like MBA for which YCMOU conducts entrance examination, candidates who perform well in the said examination will be selected for further admission process followed by document verification and fee payment leading to final seat allotment.
