While enrolling for the BEd course candidates' must ensure that it is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), as it is mandatory for teaching positions in government and private schools in India.
Who can apply for BEd?
Candidates meeting the minimum eligibility criteria can apply for the BEd course. As per the eligibility criteria, graduates from any discipline, such as Arts, Science, or Commerce, can apply provided they have completed a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50-55% marks. There is also reservation for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per the government norms.

- Educational Qualification: A bachelor's degree (BA, BSc, BCom, etc.) or a master's degree with at least 50% marks (varies by institution and category).
- Age Limit: 21 years or older; some institutions have no upper age limit.
- Additional: A few universities have state-specific criteria. For example, the IGNOU requires candidates to have an IGNOU BEd Teaching Certificate.
UP BEd JEE exam is conducted to fill over 3.04 Lacs seats across BEd colleges in Uttar Pradesh. It includes government, un-aided, private universities across the state.
Approximately 2.08 candidates registered for the Bihar BEd Common Entrance Test (CET) 2025. Out of which, only 1.89 Lacs candidates appeared on the Bihar BEd 2025 examination day.
No, candidates must clear the MAH BEd CET to get admisision in education college across Maharashtra. If there is a management quota, it is important to complete the BEd registration.

Start with getting familiar with the format and syllabus that includes GK, Teaching Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and Language Proficiency. - Save or print the acknowledgment or receipt.
The next process after registration is to appear in the exam and qualify for it. Counseling/Interviews: Shortlisted candidates are called for counseling or interviews where documents are verified. During the documentation process candidates will have to -
- Educational certificates (10th, 12th, and graduation mark sheets)
- Entrance exam scorecard (if applicable)
- Identity proof (Aadhaar, PAN, etc.)
- Category certificate (if applicable)

There are no official dates released by Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU), Dharbhanga, Bihar BEd CET exam conducting body. The notification is expected to be released in March end or April first week.
