The mode of AP College course admissions is online. Admission to various courses is based on entrance exams and merit. The accepted entrance exams are AP EAMCET,  JEE Main, and others. Students applying through JEE Main must first register for the JEE Main exam. Then appear for the JEE Main exam. Then with valid scores, apply on the official website of Guntur Nagarjuna University.

Both the AP LAWCET and CLAT entrance exam are conducted for admission to the Law schools in India, however, the syllabus for these exams are different on many parameters and candidates should strategise differently for both the exams. AP LAWCET exam has sections including Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude, Contract Law, Constitution, etc. and the CLAT entrance exam sections include English Language, Legal Aptitude, Mathematics, etc. AP LAWCET does not have mathematics subjects, AP LAWCET exam focus more on regional knowledge. AP EAMCET is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada, on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).  AP EAMCET is conducted for admission into various professional courses offered in Colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh. It is a computer-based test (CBT) for admission into first year of professional courses. AP EAMCET exam is conducted annually.  AP EAMCET syllabus is based on curriculum of Class 11 and Class 12.
