The admission process for the MBA/PGDM programme at Gujarat Technological University is open for students. Admission is based on the academic record of an undergraduate course. The Gujarat Common Admission Services (GCAS) Education Department prepares the merit list. It is also advisable that students keep all their documents ready. STEP 1: Gujarat Technological University MBA/PGDM Application Process 2025

To apply for the Gujarat Technological University MBA course, candidates need to fill out the application form online. Follow these steps to get started:

Step 1.1: Initially, applicants should visit the official website of Gujarat Technoligical University (gtu.ac.in) and check the ‘Students’ section on the ‘Home’ page.

Step 1.2: Check the drop-down menu, 'Admission' section is available. Check the eligibility criteria and fill out the GCAS registration form on the website with accurate information to avoid disparity.

Step 1.3: Upload the required documents along with the educational qualifications, and submit the application by reviewing it after paying the application fee, which is not more than five hundred rupees.

STEP 2: College Allotment Process

Gujarat Technological University might release the merit list for the selected students, which is prepared by the GCAS. Seats from the preferred MBA course are allocated to the students based on their UG aggregate. Afterwards, students are called for document verification process. Any discrepancies in the documents are not encouraged.

STEP 3: Admission Confirmation

After the aforementioned steps are carried out by students, they are required to pay the admission fee of INR 10,000 to the college to secure their admission. Placements: Around 90 percent of students get placed. The packages are 4.5 LPA to 8 LPA. The average is about 5 LPA. Companies include TCP, Perfetti, Birla Opus and ICICI Bank. 100% of students receive internships at companies like HFFC, Amul, Birla Opus, and local firms. Common roles include marketing, sales, HR and business development.

Placements: Placement percentage has been really good. The average placement rate was 80%. The highest package offered was around 16 LPA, and the lowest was around 5.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Amul, Asian Paints, ICICI, and ITC. Students were able to fetch internships at Amul, ICICI Securities, Motilal Oswal, etc. Roles that were offered were Marketing Executive, Research Analyst, and Sales Executive.

Infrastructure: Facilities have been above average, with a strong network and the latest technological advancements such as smart boards. They also have well-qualified personnel in the IT department. They help us solve every query regarding our technical problems with laptops. The library has a wide range of books available. Most students can study using their material. The canteen has been above average. It caters to a wide range of food options. So overall, it has been good-quality stuff.

Faculty: The curriculum is good, with industry-equipped knowledge and solutions. Faculty has been wonderful, supportive, and caring, and every problem is addressed with utmost care. Their study material is also good, with clearly defined knowledge and examples that help us understand the topics more clearly. The difficulty of exams is above average, with a passing percentage of 50%.

Other: This field was chosen to enhance my practical and analytical skill set with an industry-based curriculum. It will help us gain knowledge with utmost practicality. This provides us with good exposure. Events have been good so far, which help us interact with our juniors as well as seniors.

The mess food is decent and hygienic compared to other hostels.

Faculty: Faculty members' attitude is quite interesting. They are very understanding and humorous. All of them are highly knowledgeable, not just about their own domain but in other domains as well. Their unique way of teaching makes us want to attend the lectures without any laziness. Semester exams are planned in a systematic way. Pass percentage is more than 50%.

Other: This college hosts many events on campus. It makes students feel attached, including seniors. It teaches students to work together, which is the biggest strength everyone has.
