To get admission to Electro Technical Officer (ETO) at AMET Chennai, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria, which includes:- Completing a four-year BE/B-Tech degree with a minimum of 50% marks in one of the following fields: Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication/Communication Engineering, or Electronics and Instrumentation, or an equivalent discipline.- Achieving at least 50% marks in English in either the 10th or 12th standard examinations.The course duration is 17 weeks of residential programme with 2 weeks exclusive safety practices training. To be eligible for admission to the Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS) at AMET Chennai, a candidate should pursue a stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) at the 10+2 level, with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks, or have a B.Sc degree in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, or Electronics with Physics as an individual subject, with an average of not less than 55% marks in the final year.
