It is a great college because of good placements, good teaching staff and good facilities.

Placements: Almost 80-90% of students in our course got placed. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Companies outside India and national companies visit our campus for placements. The highest salary package offered is 14 LPA. Some faculty members in our college are great, and they are very active in students future placement. The college has some cooperation from different multinational companies which visit our college every year to recruit students.

Infrastructure: Facilities available in our college are good, and...

AMET University is deemed to be university affiliated by a directed general of shipping.

Placements: When compared to other colleges, our placement was good. In my batch, 180 students out of which 80 students got placed, and still we have one more year left. The world largest companies like Maersk, PIL, Chevron, Good Wood, Seateam, shell, etc., visit the campus and hire the students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure on the campus was fairly good. The Wi-Fi and medical facilities are available for 24*7. The campus Wi-Fi is also available. Our college gives importance to a sport, and we went for a tournament fr...

Prefer marine or nautical course in the college for a better life.

Placements: Mostly, marine and nautical science students are placed in companies because our college focuses on these two streams. Marine or nautical science is good for 4-years studies, and other departments have low placements.

Infrastructure: Choosing marine or nautical science career is good in this college. The college has a good library, nice classrooms, and an auditorium. The environment in the college is really good. The canteens are small and good. Playgrounds for tennis, football, and kabbadi games are really good...

Make your dream real after you join AMET.

Placements: The placements are good on the campus. Nearly, 25 MNC companies visit every year, and almost 95% of the students get placed in all over the world. Many companies are looking for students in AMET. Mostly, the students are selected for the sales department because of their communication skills. Nearly, 90% of the students get an internship from college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good on the campus. The facilities like Wi-Fi, library, which has around 20,000 books, 24*7 medical facilities, canteen, and ...

AMET always has its name in the field but not as much as Thulani or IMU.

Placements: I passed out in 2014. It was the down-time for the whole Merchant Navy field, but still, our college managed to bring more than 20 companies for final placements. Almost 55-60 students got placed out of 200. Shell Petroleum, Northern Marine, American President Line and Maersk Lines are few of the top recruiters in that year for the role of trainee marine engineer to work onboard the ship. Marine is losing its attraction over the last few years in terms of salary packages and additional benefits.
