Overall it is the best college for an MBA.

Faculty: Teachers are incredibly helpful and kind, and participating in college societies allows you to form positive relationships with teachers from other departments as well. The course material is pertinent to preparing students for corporations and insurers. In our department, 95% of students passed the semester examinations, which are challenging enough to prepare them for more difficult exams.

Take admission, only if you get a sponsor.

Faculty: Teachers are good, but since they are from Tamil Nadu, there is sometimes a bit of partiality between North Indian and Tamil Nadu students. Captains and merchant faculty members do not show any partiality between North students and Tamil students. They are equal to everyone. Talking about extracurriculars, faculty members like nautical maths, english, projects, and IT. They give more marks to Tamil students compared to North Indian students.

Good college for those who genuinely want to learn.

Faculty: The professors of the college are well-seasoned and experienced in their domain of maritime. With retired chief Engineers and captains as the professors, the students get experience from their knowledge, which is not confined to textbooks but includes actual real-life experiences.

The college has good infrastructure and knowledgeable faculty members.

Faculty: Faculty members are not only knowledgeable but also truly supportive. They guide us on every step of the way. With modern facilities and hands-on training programs, AMET ensures we are fully prepared for a career in the merchant navy. I highly recommend this university to anyone passionate about a future in maritime engineering.

It is a good college if you choose a career in the Merchant Navy and work on ships.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified and have years of experience in sailing and teaching. This course is for the crew and officer positions on ships. The first year will be training, and after several competency exams, you can become an officer. The pass percentage is 70/100 for core subjects and 50/100 for other subjects.

Satisfied with faculty members and good infrastructure.

Faculty: Faculty members are industry-experienced. They are highly qualified, approachable, supportive, and well-structured. Teaching quality is above average to excellent. I have internships and they help us well. Semester exams are moderately difficult. Pass percentage is usually higher than 90%.

Well-structured MBA with practical exposure.

Faculty: The faculty members are well qualified, with many holding PhDs and industry experience in logistics, maritime operations, and international trade. Several professors have prior work experience in shipping companies, logistics firms, or port operations.

Good faculty members and exposure, but placements and campus activities need improvement.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified and generally helpful, with good knowledge in their fields. The teaching quality is decent, though some methods could be more interactive. The curriculum is relevant. But industry readiness could improve. Semester exams are moderately difficult, with an average pass percentage.

I don't like this college.

Faculty: The teaching quality is not good enough for me. They only teach for their own purpose and it is not industry-relevant. Exams are not tough. They are easy for us. I could not expect much from this college and did not understand its motive. It is one of the worst colleges I have ever seen in my life. It is a waste.

It has good teaching and better facilities. I think it is giving 100% placements.

Faculty: Teachers are good and helpful. 50% is the pass percentage. The course curriculum is relevant. Teachers are knowledgeable. Semester exams are moderate and but there are some subjects that are not related to shipping, but I think, so it is GK.

It has an okay life. The library is very good.

Faculty: The syllabus is course-oriented, but students need to look into the global demand markets and reach standards, and choose to be an expert. Various subjects are taught to students, and also few industry visits are also held to help students understand the current global trends.

It has an excellent BBA in Shipping course. There is great infrastructure and campus life at AMET.

Placements: There are around 80 students in our batch of BBA Shipping at AMET University. Approximately 75% of students secure placements through campus recruitment. The highest package offered is around 7 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.5 LPA. The average package ranges from 3.5-4 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Maersk Line, Hapag-Lloyd, and Adani Ports. Many students also received internship opportunities during the final year in companies like Synergy Marine Group and NYK Line. The ...

It has average infrastructure and good faculty members.

Faculty: The teaching of faculty members is average. They use the smart board to teach us, but it's not enough to understand in a good way. The course curriculum makes average-level students industry-ready. Semester exam questions are of a medium level.
