The answer will be both yes and no. Getting admission into AIIMS Mangalagiri without NEET is possible since AIIMS Mangalagiri offers a lot of courses apart from MBBS such as BSc, MD and MS. Admission to these courses is based on institute-specific entrance exams or INICET. Students must qualify for NEET for the MBBS course. The NeXT Exam is conducted in two separate segments knows as ‘Steps’ in the online mode. The NExT Step 1 is a theoretical examination consisting of six papers. NExT Step 2 is a Practical / Clinical and Viva Voce examination covering seven clinical subjects or disciplines. The qualifying cutoff marks in NExT Step 1 will be calculated as whole number which will be considered as a Raw Scores with appropriate decimals and subsequently corresponding Percentages. The minimum marks for passing in NeXT are 50% or half of the maximum possible Raw for NExT Step 1.
