Inside AIIMS Raipur life can be tough but it is worth it.
Placements: There are no placement criteria in nursing. You have to clear NORCET to get a job as a nursing officer in AIIMS. The salary is a very handsome amount, which is 80k per month. Internship is generally conducted during the last 6 months of the course with a stipend of 13.5k per month.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is highly up to date with Wi-Fi, labs for every department, and classrooms containing ACs and LED projectors. There is also a central library available that has plenty of books and journals, with an e-library facility also available. Hostels are free, but mess is chargeable.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable, but they can be approachable at times. The course is very relevant and prepares the students clinically, which helps them during their professional careers. The final exams are moderately difficult, and the pass percentage is 100%.

Life of a nursing student at AIIMS Raipur.
Placements: Every year 75 students are selected on the basis of a counseling procedure. Each student gets an internship in the hospital and is paid a stipend of 13,500/- for 6 months. We are posted in the hospital for better clinical exposure for better learning.
Infrastructure: We have a separate building known as the nursing college than the medical college. We have lab demonstrations for different departments such as NF, MSN OBG, CHN, etc. The food prepared by the mess is fine, but sometimes the quality is not so good. The menu is decided as per the students choices.
Faculty: We have professors, lecturers, and nursing tutors well qualified from different parts of our country. The semester exams are held every 3-4 months for internal assessment, and at last we have pre-professionals and then professionals. Final exams are the most important for the evaluation of an individual.
Other: We have a central India's largest fest known as ORIANA, in which top singers and performers come for 4 days. The campus is huge and beautiful for night walks and safe too.

Not completely satisfied but overall it's good. Infrastructure is highly developed.
Placements: 75 students are there in each batch and every passed student in 3rd year gets a chance of internship during the 4th year which is the final year. Internship is for 6 months which provides good clinical exposure so students are more practically educated.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are highly advanced, library is also there which remains open for 24?7, Wi-Fi connection is there in the library, canteen is also there, games and sports are held during various time period and on various occasions, mess food is not that much good and the mess feels is also high.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified but not helpful and not approachable, teaching quality is average, curriculum is not that much good, lots of unnecessary assignments are there which are not even required, semester exams are average and not that much difficult, 50 % marks are required in each subject for passing the exams.
Other: We get a good clinical exposure as we are posted in hospital, course would be more better if the unnecessary assignments are removed and some more other curricular activities can be added. Fests are arranged every year, Oriana is the biggest fest of our college, attending this fest is really a great fun. Campus is also good and extra curricular activities are also performed.

One of the best medical colleges of India.
Placements: We have 75 students in our class with a B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing course. Our faculty is well educated; they provide us with more than enough knowledge regarding our course, which helps us in the future to clear the competition exams to get jobs easily. In our college, the top 3 courses are MBBS, nursing, and paramedical.
Infrastructure: Our hostel has very nice infrastructure. We all have single rooms with attached washrooms in the 1st year, and after that, up to the 4th year, we have single rooms, but washrooms are not attached. The hostel provides us all the necessary things like a study table, chair, and night lamp. Also, we have windows for better ventilation. We have a separate mess where we get average food.
Faculty: Our faculty is well educated and has enough knowledge about the field, and they are very cooperative and encourage us to develop our personality. We have 2 semesters each year and preprofessional and professional exams, and the level of the exam is moderate but sometimes hard.
Other: B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing is a professional course that provides us the opportunity to learn and develop skills and prepare us to provide our heartfelt service to patients.

Overall a good college, but life can be hectic, best for skill learning.
Placements: Placement depends upon the person itself. In the medical field, if you can prepare well for competitive exams, then a person will get a job, neither not. It totally depends upon the person. But it's a premium institute, so everything is advanced here and updated. Students get better opportunities to learn skills as patient loads are also very high.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good with proper AC rooms, and everyone gets a single room hostel here, and no hostel fees, too. A central library is there where students can access different types of books, from story books to our study-related books. For sports, a playground is there. Gym facilities are there, too. Open gym and actual gym both are present. Mess food depends on the supplier, and a mess committee is there who regularly checks the quality of food and all.
Faculty: Teachers are highly educated. Too many assignments are there in the curriculum which I feel are unnecessary. Semester exams are a little tough sometimes, but yes, it's good for NORCET and other exams. Both nursing and medical professors and tutors teach us.

Review of AIIMS Raipur - All India Institute of Medical Sciences.
Placements: About 70% of students get PG seats in top medical colleges such as AIIMS Delhi, CMC Vellore etc. The highest stipend will be 1 Lac per month, and the average stipend is 65,000-70,000. Apollo hospital and many other hospitals recruit students from here. MS general surgery, MD medicine and MS Obgy are the favourite branches of students.
Infrastructure: The college has 4 lecture theatres with central AC and can accommodate a strength of 150 to 200 people. The library is on 3rd floor with central AC and an e-Library with laptops and computers of Dell and HP. Labs are well-equipped with all the new facilities. We have a private mess which offers good quality food, like roti, curry, rice and also butter milk. We have chicken twice a week, on Wednesday and Sunday. Sports facilities like a basketball court and volleyball court are available. A cricket ground is also present where we used to play football even. We have a badminton court also. We have 2 table tennis nets. An open gym is also available. Medical facilities are available 24 hours.
Faculty: The faculty members in our college have done their MBBS, MD and DM from well-known institutes in India. They are well experienced in teaching. The teaching quality is very good with power presentations and chalk-board method. The curriculum is relevant enough and helps students to study. Semester exams are a little tough, but if we study well, we can pass the exams. The pass percentage is about 70-80%.
Other: MBBS is a course that teaches how to save the life of patients and treat patients. Doctors are called the second God who can save the life of patients. No specific improvement is needed in the course till now. There will be several events conducted in the college. Every festival is celebrated in the college with all the members of college, and we enjoy a lot. AIIMS Raipur has a fest named Oriana conducted by the students of last year in October every year, which is of 4 days. We also have a DJ night. It is a big fest. Connectivity is good enough. The airport is also present nearby. NSP scholarships are given to students who are eligible. The campus is spread over a total of 101 acres.

Absolutely satisfied with everything in our college.
Placements: There are 125 students per batch. MBBS graduates from each year after 4.5 years of study go to internship after passing the final exam. There is PG entrance exam. Most of our seniors got admission in top medical colleges. Almost all the final years got internship in our college (99%). Well serving, social doctors are proudly made by our college.
Infrastructure: Central Wi-Fi is available in our college for every staff and students. Labs and classrooms are well-equipped with new facilities and excellent infrastructures. Library is vast and two storied. E library is also available for every student and staff. Hostel is excellent as every student gets a single room with very tasty food. Canteen, mess are very hygienic. Sports and Games are organised every year by students union. Medical facilities are always available for everyone.
Faculty: The teachers in every department are helpful, highly qualified and highly knowledgeable. Teaching is also awesome. Curriculum made is very helpful as we are the budding doctors to serve our nation, it is mostly the relevant. Exams are above average because we have to be aware of everything about medical field. Almost the students are qualified for their higher classes.
Other: MBBS is a vital degree. Humankind is understandable through this degree. I always wanted to be a good human and a good doctor to serve our nation. As of now there is nothing to improve in our college because it is under Central Government. Oriana is our official college fest which is yearly conducted. But due to covid now it is arrested to avoid gathering of people. Every thing about our campus is awesome. Literally awesome life.
