AISECT University select students based on academic merit and performance in AJEE for the BSc programme. It can be compulsory for all the aspirants to appear for the entrance test. However, for direct admissions, the entrance test may not be compulsory. For selection, students must also be Class 12 or equivalent pass from a recognised university.

At the undergraduate level, AISECT University offers BA, BCA, BCom,  BSc, and other courses to students. At the PG level, the university provides MA, MCA,  MCom, MSc, and other courses to students. MA is provided in nine specialisations, namely Economics, Sociology, Psychology, and others. 

AISECT University offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in different fields. However, the MBA program at AISECT University is considered one of the top courses offered by the university. The MBA program at AISECT University is a two-year full-time course that provides professional education in the field of management. The program aims to develop critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, along with modern management practices for a successful career in management. The curriculum is designed to blend modern practices and theories of management with traditional knowledge, creating leadership in innovation and research in higher education. The MBA program at AISECT University aims to develop second and first-level managers for both public and private sectors. The program also formulates an integrative business project through the application of multidisciplinary knowledge comprising accounting, finance, operations, management, information systems, retail, marketing, human resources, and agribusiness management.

The eligibility and selection criteria is slightly different for the MSc in Agriculture course of AISECT University. Aspirants with a valid BSc or equivalent degree from a recognised university passed with a minimum of 50% aggregate can apply. The applicants must hold the relevant documents or pass certificates as well during the form filling and admission confirmation. 

The university may offer course admissions on a merit-basis, primarily. Hence, the applicants performance in the UG degree course shall be evaluated for selection. For the MSc in Agriculture course, the selection can be entrance-based and hence, AJEE score of the candidates can be considered. The aspirants who fulfil the eligibility criteria can proceed with application formalities. After this, the applications are evaluted and selection is done.

A merit/selection list is published to announce names of the selected candidates. These applicants can pay the admission fee amount to lock their seats. 

The course aspirants who have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam can apply. However, the qualifying exam should have been passed from a recognised board. At the time of form filling and admission, the aspirants have to submit the important documents. It is also within the rights of the university revise the eligibility requirements. 

The university releases its applications in and around Mar. Aspirants of AISECT MSc course must submit their applications on or before the prescribed deadline. Moreover, the online registrations for AJEE begins in Mar as well. The registration window closes in the Apr month of the academic year.
