B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2029
Offered by Gaya College of Engineering
2.2

GCE Gaya - Low fees, decent academics, average campus life.
Placements: In branches like Mechanical and EEE, 60 to 70 percent of students get placed, while in CSE, only 2 students get campus placement. The placement amount is about 2.5 to 3.5 LPA. Many students also choose to pursue further studies. Some choose the path of competitive exams.
Infrastructure: The college has quite a basic infrastructure, an academic building where all the theory classes are taken, and there are also some workshop buildings where practical stuff takes place for branches like Mechanical, Civil, and EEE. Wi-Fi facility is available in some parts of the campus, there are many labs for the particular departments. There's also one decent library. Mess is also decent, you must complain regularly to get good food.
Faculty: Teachers are also decent. Some of the experienced teachers are quite good, but the newly placed teachers are very inexperienced and need training, they also lack knowledge. I think the course is a bit outdated for a branch like CSE. CSE students have to work extra hard to get placed. Semester exams can be passed easily by studying for 1-2 weeks.
Other: As per affordable conditions, this college is decent, and the syllabus should be improved a bit. The campus has a lot of potential. The college is spread over a large area, and much infrastructure can be built here. But the ignorance of management is making this college a below-average college.

B.Tech. in Computer Engineering - Batch of 2027
Offered by Sitamarhi Institute of Technology

Good for a degree, not for placements and infrastructure.
Placements: I am a B.Tech (CSE) student of the 3rd year at Sitamarhi Institute of Technology. The placement scenario in our college is quite weak and not very reliable. Only around 20-30% of students from our college were placed through campus placements. Most students had to look for off-campus placements or prepare for exams like GATE, ESE, PSUs, or other government jobs. The recruiting companies are mostly sales companies, and some of the students get placements in TCS, Infosys through off-campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the course is improving a little over time. Classrooms are now equipped with digital boards. The campus has Wi-Fi connectivity throughout. The labs are available but still need better equipment and regular maintenance. The library provides basic academic books and a sitting area where you can study from 10 AM to 8 PM. There are 3 boys' and 2 girls' hostels on the campus. Hostel facilities are average. The quality of the food in the mess is below average, with limited variety and hygiene concerns.
Faculty: The faculty members are generally BPSC qualified and knowledgeable, but the teaching quality varies from teacher to teacher. Some teachers are helpful and supportive, and some of them are strict. You will have to maintain 75% of class attendance along with biometric attendance to appear in the semester examination.
Other: The college fees are much lower than those of other private engineering colleges. It will cost around 3 lakhs for the complete B. Tech degree, including mess and hostel fees. You will additionally get around Rs. 15,000 per year through the Post Matric Scholarship if you are a Bihar resident and NOT belonging to the General category.

MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery - Batch of 2029

The glimpse of Patna Medical College.
Placements: We are employed as interns in the hospital itself for 1 year and then we are open to jobs. Many students tend to do PG so they appear for exams and believe me, everyone is talented here and many succeeded with an India rank of double digits in recent years only.
Infrastructure: The college is in the building phase yet the new hostels are awesome. The only problem is that they are small the mess is not up to par but you can easily eat in there. There is no such big issue but the ambience is not so good. The new hospital buildings are no less than any AIIMS.
Faculty: As with every place some faculty are okay some are good and the majority don't know to deliver but it happens everywhere. The departments are good and there's no such big thing to consider. Everyone studies their own but the practicals are taught well at least the basics are taught well.
Other: I chose it according to my rank and MBBS is a course where you can serve people (directly) no improvement needed. I guess extracurriculars can be improved. Fests can be improved and campus life is the only thing we lack here.

Government Engineering College Bank.
Placements: Around 50-60% of students get placed. The average package is around 3-5 LPA, and the highest package reported is up to 10-12 LPA in some years. Seniors are well placed in Wipro, TCS, and many other well-renowned companies.
Infrastructure: Still developing a lot, there are a sufficient number of labs that help students learn quickly and with innovative ideas. If a student does not have a PC, they can still learn coding and practice because the computer labs are open when no classes are going on. The infrastructure of the library is also good, but there is not sufficient space present there.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and kind in nature. All the faculty help students in studies as well as in extracurricular activities. There is a TG interaction, which means each student is provided a Teacher-Guardian for throughout their course. The curriculum is provided by the university, and the college strictly follows that.
Other: Some students say that activities and campus exposure are average. The college is in a rural area, so city facilities are limited.

Infrastructure is good. It has 24x7 Wi-Fi, a hostel, and teachers with good behaviour.
Placements: Based on typical placement data for technical courses, approximately 70 percent of students get placed. The highest package offered is 7 LPA. The lowest package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and HCL hire students. Roles such as software developer, data analyst, and trainee engineer are offered here.
Infrastructure: The campus offers excellent infrastructure. It has well-ventilated and smart classrooms. There are advanced labs equipped for hands-on and industry-standard training. A central library holds a vast collection of books. 24x7 Wi-Fi is available across the campus. The hostel is secure and clean.
Faculty: Teachers are generally qualified with an M.Tech degree, but helpfulness varies. They often require students to be proactive, as effective teaching blends knowledge with engagement. Some faculty members are research-oriented. The teaching quality can be consistent in private colleges.
Other: I chose this course for a good career and to earn more money.

B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering (Advanced Communication Technology) - Batch of 2029
Offered by Government College of Engineering, Vaishali
3.2
1Placements3Infrastructure4Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
It is an average college with low placements and poor campus life.
Placements: Placements are quite average. The banners show that the package offered to students is 1.8 LPA by unheard-of companies' names, which reflects poor placement conditions. However, we can find 10 LPA banners from the civil engineering branch, but after 5 company switches. Students barely get placed, as we can find 1 per whole 1st year. Students get a good package in PSUs or 2-5 per 500 students from good companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is one of the better aspects of the college. Classrooms and labs are in good condition and suitable for academic purposes. However, Wi-Fi is not available for students, and no one normally asks for it because of strict teachers, which is a big drawback in today's time. Water supply is like we're getting direct supply from a tank without purifying. Normally, the infrastructure is very good, like other colleges. One more thing that is not good is that the campus size is very small.
Faculty: Faculty members are decent, and they teach well enough for exams. However, they are not exceptional. There is almost no research culture in the college. Similarly, the coding culture is very poor. Most students focus only on passing exams and do not engage in skill development or extracurricular learning.
