Infrastructure: Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, and Electrical Engineering each have their own departments. Wi-Fi is available, and lab equipment is properly used. The library is open 24 hours, and the classrooms are neat and clean, providing a comfortable and conducive environment for studying and practical learning.
Faculty: All professors are PhD holders and highly educated. Appreciated for the specific skills and projects. All HODs are helping the specific branches. College examination is very strict and hard, and all classrooms are equipped with CCTV cameras. All teachers are cooperative and help with any doubts and problems. All professors organise the specific classes and complete the entire syllabus on time, helping the students to prepare for specific examinations, such as GATE, SSC JE, PSU, Government Jobs, etc.
Other: Fresher parties, event organizations, and mass campus selections are regularly conducted

The best value for money college.
Placements: Average placement of around 40-50% students. Fewer companies visit here. Average placement (5-6 LPA), and the top offers are of 8-9 LPA. You have to maintain a good CGPA to get a high package placement. Students who don't get placement opportunities may prepare for GATE or other government exams.
Infrastructure: If you join PCE, you get a functional and decent infrastructure, proper labs, classrooms, a library/computer labs, a hostel with basic amenities, and campus sports/gym. Enough to support your engineering studies and college life. You have good facilities that help you with every problem, from college problems to personal problems. They deal with that.
Faculty: PCE Purnea has decent faculty with mostly young, qualified teachers, though teaching quality can vary between departments. The curriculum follows BEU's structure, so it's standard and covers all core engineering subjects with regular labs. Exams are semester-based and a bit strict but manageable with consistent study. Overall, academics are solid for a growing government college.
Other: The campus population is fairly active. People come from different parts of Bihar, so there's a modest but diverse student body, which helps in making friends and interacting across branches.

Absolutely dissatisfied with college and do not recommend taking admission.
Placements: In the year 2025 75 percent of students got placement but most of the students are hired for the sales executive officer position. Some students got placement in companies like VI Mynta Tata Consultancy Service. They hire for engineering Training and Web Development roles.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is average with the building not receiving proper maintenance every year. We are suffering from flooding due to the Ganga near the college. We have a good library and not good Wi-Fi. There is a indoor with a small gym but only a few equipment are available.
Faculty: Teachers are very good but some of them show little attention in teaching and mostly only take the salary. We have NIT. I have not done any industry visits in my academic year. We have done only a remote internship as the college does not provide internships. Semester exam is very difficult and we face questions outside the syllabus in the exam.

Very good college in Bihar. This college comes in the top 5 engineering colleges of Bihar.
Placements: Placement is minimal, but for those who have placement, the package is very high because of the many brilliant students. However, the number of jobs is less, but the placement in 2025 is increasing from the placement done in 2024, slightly increasing in placement. There are many students who have been placed this year.
Infrastructure: Very good infrastructure, new model free Wi-Fi, and fully AC classrooms are available. There are separate labs for Computer Science and Technology. There is a canteen every year, college flag a sports marathon like Umang. There are many interesting games in this, like cricket, kabbadi etc. There is a very large field for sports like badminton, football, and cricket.
Faculty: Smart board teaching practical knowledge. The semester exam in this college is not too hard, and easy to pass for those students who regularly attend the class. The pass percentage is about 80 percent.

Placements: Placement of my college is very good among all government engineering colleges of Bihar I think it is best choice for kosi students. Last year the highest package is 8 lac. For mechanical engineering student. Each and every year all mechanical engineering students are placed.
Infrastructure: Hostels are very good. And it is well maintained. Our college administration is doing very good work. Among all government engineering colleges the hostel of our college is very good and well maintained.24/7 Wi-Fi facility is available in our college hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and all teachers are qualified BPSC exam. Teachers are too much supportive for each and every student. Labs are also well maintained and lab assistants are also well qualified. Daily classes are run as per schedule time table is maintained.

Average in all fields like teaching, infrastructure, and mess. Best thing is that the fee is low.
Placements: In Electrical and Electronic Engineering at GEC Gaya, there are very few chances of getting placed through campus recruitment. Companies do visit, but they usually offer packages ranging from 3 LPA to 4 LPA, with a maximum of 10 LPA to 12 LPA. Top companies like HCL, TCS, and some lesser-known companies visit the campus. In 2024, about 98% of students from the Mechanical department got placed. In the EEE branch, the highest package is 12 LPA, while the lowest is 2.5 LPA this year. There are fewer opportunities to get internships through the college, so students generally need to find internships on their own during vacation.
Infrastructure: The main academic building is well developed with smart classrooms, and there are well equipped laboratories such as the workshop lab, computer lab, physics lab, and BEE Lab. Now, regarding hostels, there are five hostels available with high speed Wi-Fi facilities. The mess quality is average. It is an initiative to install speakers in the classrooms, and two more hostel buildings are being constructed.
Faculty: All teachers are friendly, supportive, and well-qualified, with many holding PhDs and some having 10 to 12 years of teaching experience. Students are required to maintain a minimum of 5 CGPA in every semester to pass, and at least 75% attendance is mandatory. They are not allowed to sit for the examinations.
Other: Basically, I chose the EEE branch because the college has limited placement opportunities, so we have a chance to pursue government or semi-government jobs such as PSUs, Railways, ISRO, NTPC, and others. In terms of sports, our college organizes inter-branch competitions in volleyball, cricket, table tennis, badminton, football, and basketball every year, conducted by the seniors. In addition, inter college competitions are also held in volleyball, table tennis, drawing, and many other activities.
