For M.Tech admission at AKU Indore, candidates need to pass BE/ BTech/ MCA from a recognised institute/ university with a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate (45 per cent for SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL candidates). Eligible candidates are shortlisted based on GATE score. Relaxation in qualification and reservation for the programme is as per the UGC and state government norms.

 Scholarships are offered to students at Aaryabhatta Knowledge University by different criteria such as academic merit or specific categories. Students from the SC, ST and OBC categories who are studying any course in AKU or a college affiliated to it shall be covered by this provision. Master of Business Administration (MBA) at AKTU is a 2-year course at the PG level. The course offers admission to 120 students. The total tuition fee for AKTU Master of Business Administration (MBA) is INR 1.19 Lakh for the whole course. The highest salary package offered for MBA students was INR 15 LPA. Abbot,  Amdocs, Birla SunLife, Blue Star, Emcure Pharmaceutical, FDC Pharma, HCL Technologies, HDFC Life, and Idea Cellular Services were the top recruiters. 

Students should pass the class 12th examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and also at least 50% marks in aggregate. There are more than two merit lists released by AKU University. 
The New town Government College was also named Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam college. The college is located in New Town, Kolkata. Its a public university. AKU is established in year 2014, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam College for this academic session 2023-24 has started the online application process for UG first Semester Admission 2023-24. Applicants should be aware that the college does not conduct any admission tests and that admission is based on merit.

For B.Tech courses, candidates must have passed the 12th from Science stream with a minimum aggregate of 60% along with the qualification result of BCECE.  The cut off ranks for Abdul Kalam Technical University is really high and  if you want to take admission in Abdul Kalam University through JEE Mains your rank must be under 40K.

For students from reserved classes scheduled castes (SC), scheduled tribes (ST), other backward castes (OBC—non-creamy layer)who are pursuing higher education, the government of Madhya Pradesh has established scholarship programmes.
