Good placement in BHM department .

Placements: 99.9 % placement Itc, and many more companies gives placement Percentage of students got internship in 80 85 % Placement are good The highest package in our course is 25.7 Lacs In our course all are okie package, placement are good this is the highest package .

Infrastructure: Bad food quality in hostel Not much sports games available sports ground is bad it is not in condition Infrastructure is not good equipment and Machines are not in working condition of machines are very bad and any equipment are is not condition .

Faculty: Teaching quality is good Semester exam is difficult pass percentage is very much Teacher are very helpful for regarding study and any problem solve by the teacher Curriculum activities are not much good but it is okay not much but it is below average .

Other: Best I want too study about this course All the things are average .

Placements: The highest package received was 3.40000 LPA Minimum 1.5 LPA 80 to 90 % of the students got placed The students placed in these hotels taj, hilton, oberois marriot, itc The placement facility is good if you work hard for yourself Rools offered were chefs, f&b employees housekeeping an front office .

Infrastructure: In hostel limited food options an no availability of hot water in room No sports an games facility The quality of rooms is average There is no privacy in rooms an in personal life The hostel warden is supporting The food quality is below average .

Faculty: While others get paid by the college to do the curriculum in our department we have to pay from our pockets to do any curriculum No facility of equipments The teaching quality is average The semister exams are tough The curriculum which the department provides it doesn't make you ready for the industry it makes you hate the industry .

Other: Teachers are good an friendly an supports you during the time when you need them but about the studies it's like a primary school .

Absolutely happy with the University.

Placements: 100% of students got placed. The highest package was 25 LPA. Oberoi, Taj, Hyatt, and Leela Palace. 100% of students got internships in different brands like Taj, Oberoi, Leela Palace, Hyatt Regency, and other 5-star hotels. Some became managers, some assistant managers, and general managers.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department was very nice. We were provided with well-equipped labs. We had a restaurant, housekeeping lab, guestroom, and kitchen where we did our practicals with all the essential equipment. The hostel was good and furnished with clean washrooms and study tables.

Faculty: Teachers were very helpful. They helped us a lot in solving our issues. They took care of each and every student and kept the guardians updated about them. They were well-qualified and knowledgeable. This course made students ready for the industry. The passing marks were 33 percent.

Other: I chose this course because, during my school life, I used to love cooking, so I decided to enroll in hotel management. The course was for 4 years. It should have been for 3 years. Events, fests, scholarships, and extracurricular activities everything happened.

I am satisfied with our faculty, and good placements in 2018, and I really like infrastructure.

Placements: I think it is a good opportunity for us to study in Shimla University. There is 80% placement from the last 5 years. I have done internship from Hotel Hilton Garden in Gurgaon. It was a big property of 205 rooms. It was a business hotel. Some other properties are Oberoi, Radisson, Jass Shimla.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our hotel management course very good and spacious Where are different departments like food and beverage services department food production front office department and housekeeping department where we can learn all the things about hotel industry. We also have some facilities like free Wi-Fi canteen library playground and etc.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful in every possible way. They were well qualified and were post graduates in their respective field. Teaching quality was also very good. The course curriculum was relevant. It provides practical and theoretical knowledge to make students industry ready.

Other: I joined this course in this university because I like hills and greenery so much plus I wanted to be a skilled chef so I joined BHM. This course makes you a gentleman and skilled and hardworking person best thing about this course. Somethings which need some improvements like transportation, some things which students can play in sports, etc. Also our university arrange events like modeling singing competition and etc.

Review of Alakh Prakash Goyal Shimla University.

Placements: 90% of students were placed in our course. The highest package is 3.40 LPA, and the lowest is 1.50 LPA. Hyaat, ITC, Hilton, Atmosphere, and DusitD2 are the top recruiting companies. 90% of students got internships from our course and got into companies such as Oberoi, Taj, Golden Tulip, and Leela Palace as Assistant Managers after OCLD. There is 100% placements.

Infrastructure: The college has free Wi-Fi available and open-space classrooms. The quality of food is average. Medical facilities are poor, and there are no shops nearby. There are not many facilities for sports and games. We don't have a playground for football and basketball. There is a small ground but it has less space.

Faculty: In my course, teachers are very friendly and supportive. They make us understand properly. Teachers are well qualified, and our food production teacher has worked in Australia for 6 years. It prepares students for the industry. Exams are average, not too hard, or not too easy.

Other: I chose this course as I have an interest in airlines. Through this course, I have learned many things and built a lot of confidence and grooming skills. The washrooms in the library are not in proper condition, and there no medical facilities provided. For sports, there is no open space. 100% scholarship is provided for SC and ST. There are neat and clean surroundings. They should replace the equipment in the kitchen.
