Supportive faculty and good infrastructure, but disappointing placement outcome.
Placements: Approximately less than 50% of students from my course got successfully placed during the campus placement drive. Salary packages are not more than 4 LPA or 5 LPA. Some of the major recruiters for our course include TCS, Bajaj Finance, Karmick Solutions, Keeves Technologies, etc. 60% of students got the internships and the rest found them on their own. The placement cell provided internships at Max, Airport authorities, a private CA firm, etc. Sales and marketing are the top offered in our course whereas finance and HR don't get too many campus drive opportunities. They might go out on campus for recruitment.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are spacious and clean. Wi-Fi is only available at some parts of the campus. There are computer labs and a well-stocked library with physical books but the AC doesn't work. The hostel facilities are decent, I don't hear much complain about the hostel services. The college has grounds for cricket, football, and has a canteen and a cafeteria too. The food and the coffee are good and affordable for the students. I've never seen a medical facility on our campus. The best thing from my point of view is that they have a separate prayer room for both men and women.
Faculty: Most teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good, with a focus on concepts. The course is relevant and somewhat industry-ready. Exams are moderately difficult, and the pass percentage is around 85%-90% with proper support.
Other: I chose this course to build a strong foundation in my field. The best part is that I get to know more about being an entrepreneur that I dream of. More internships, Mock interviews, aptitude tests, and live projects would help more. The campus has good events, crowds, and connectivity. Scholarships are also offered.

The infrastructure of this college is good.
Placements: 80% of students get placed in our course. The highest package is 7 LPA and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. Companies that visit our college for placements are TCS, Cognizant, and Tech Mahindra. In our college, 70% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available. It has smart classrooms, an auditorium, and a seminar room. The quality of our hostel facilities is good and the food is also good. The water supply is good. Wi-Fi is available in the hostel. Washrooms are neat and clean. Rooms are good. Every day room is cleaned by the hostel management.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, knowledgeable, and highly qualified. The teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students ready for the company work. The pass percentage of this college in the semester exams is 33% in each subject.
Other: I chose this course because I want to go deep in the tech field and work at an IT company.

Absolutely Dissatisfied Because of Placements, but Infrastructure and Campus are Beautiful
Placements: About 60% of the 2024 batch were placed in my course. The highest package was 10.7 LPA, the lowest was around 2.5 LPA, whereas the average package offered in my course was 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, Cognizant, TCS, and Rashmi Group. About 30% of students got internships from the 3rd or 4th year onwards in Rashmi Group and TCS. We are taught many computer-based subjects, which help in top roles.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good except for some of them. The overall infrastructure of our course and hostel is average. Wi-Fi is not available in classrooms or the hostel; it is only available in seminar halls and official rooms. Labs are not good enough; they are without AC, and some of them don’t even have enough chairs to sit. Our classrooms are big in space, but they are normal classrooms without AC and smart boards. The library is nice and well-maintained, but again, AC is not in the library. The quality of food is not that bad, but the canteen has nice food. Our college has medical facilities too. In Aliah University, there are physical sports like cricket or football, but no e-games.
Faculty: Only a few teachers are helpful, although they are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is below average. This course is curriculum relevant, and only a few subjects are irrelevant. Somehow, the curriculum makes a student industry-ready, but not in all aspects. Our semester exams are quite tough, and the passing percentage is 35%.
Other: I chose this course because I was a passionate computer student. The best thing about our course is that most of the subjects are computer-based. I wish some of the irrelevant subjects were removed and teachers started teaching students according to the need of the industry; then it would be much better. We have very few events and fests, like once in 6 months. The campus crowd is good. The surroundings of the campus are mostly of companies like TCS and Wipro. We get a scholarship of 60,000 every year.

It is value for money only for infrastructure and not for placements.
Placements: There is no guarantee of placements. Very less companies visit campus and take only 2-3 students with them. BCA students can hardly get placed in the college. We have to do our own preparation for off-campus placements. Students get placed only for the roles of sales or marketing.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good and clean. Wi-Fi is provided. The library is open from morning 9 AM to 10 PM. Toilets on the campus are well-maintained. There is greenery on the campus where we can sit and enjoy nature with our classmates and friends.
Faculty: Faculty members are also very nice and cooperative. The course curriculum is updated as per the industry requirements what industry needs. Faculty members also cover the syllabus in a way that every student can understand. Exams are also easy because they teach us well before the exams.

Fine and average university with less social life and an amazing campus.
Placements: Around 60% of students get placed. As we've heard from our faculty members or placement coordinator, the lowest package was 3 LPA and the highest was around 7-8 LPA. There are many recruiting companies like TCS. Of all students, 70-80% of students get internships in roles like web development, DevOps, software engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructures are good, all requirements like labs and smart classes are there. Wi-Fi is available for students, and a library with a digital library (PCs for students) is also there. Hostel facilities and food are average; they can be improved. A playground and swimming pool are there for students.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are PhDs. Teaching quality is good. Faculty members are good and interact with students properly. The curriculum and course are fine, but they can be improved by focusing on specific fields. Exams are a little difficult, but with proper guidance, the passing percentage is almost 90%.
Other: I wanted to be a computer engineer, so chose CSE. There are many things that they can improve like organizing fests and functions, annual sports, and if we talk about the course, personally in CSE, they should focus on teaching students about their interest field besides covering the whole syllabus. The campus is not too crowded as it's big. Scholarships are also available.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of placement, but really good in value for money
Placements: About 70% of students were placed in my course. The highest and lowest average package offered was 12 LPA and 3 LPA respectively l, and the average package was about 4.5 LPA. Amazon, Cognizant and TCS are some of the top recruiting companies. About 25% of students were placed in top companies
Infrastructure: Classrooms doesn't have ac or smart board. Library doesn't have ac but infrastructure is good. Labs also doesn't have any action, and infrastructure is not that well. The quality of food available in hostel is not that bad. Whereas the canteen's food is nice. Sports and games like cricket and football are available, but there is no e-games available.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified but they are not helpful and can't deliver their knowledge effectively. The curriculum is mostly irrelevant in initial years but relevant in final years. But that relevancy is not according to industry. The semester exams are quite difficult, but studying a month before exams , one can easily pass. The passing percentage is 35%.
Other: I chose this course because it is the most demanding. Our course have the best placements. The things that can be better is to modify the curriculum according to industry. The fees is about 70000 for the whole course. There is very less fests occurring in college. We get about 60000 per year as scholarship.

Yes, Aliah University New Town also accepts scores of WBJEE for entry into the BTech courses. If the candidates have not appeared for WBJEE, they can also sit for AUAT. Seat allotment is rank and seat-dependent. Confirm by checking the latest admission notice.

Aliah University has a merit-based admission process, except for B.Tech programs which require a good rank in the WBJEE exam. The university conducts its own entrance exam called the Aliah University Admission Test (AUAT) for admission to most of its programs. The AUAT exam is moderately to highly c
