Review of Aliah University.

Placements: Every year, our college provides average placements, with approximately 60-70% of students securing jobs. In the ECE department, the placement rate is around 45-55%. The highest package offered was 10 LPA, while the lowest package was 2.2 LPA, and the average package for my college ranges from 3.5-4.5 LPA. Many companies, including Wipro, Cisco Networking, Infotech, Intel, Havells, Exide Industries, and NVIDIA, visit our campus for ECE placements. Our college does not provide internships; however, students have successfully secured internships at companies like Hindustan Aeronautics and the Airport Authority Limited on their own. The top roles offered include Software Analyst, Electronic Design Engineer, Service Engineer, and more.

Infrastructure: Our college offers good facilities, including well-maintained labs, classrooms, and a library, all equipped with air conditioning and campus-wide Wi-Fi. The hostel facilities at Aliah University are commendable, but there are limited seats available. Students living more than 100 km from the college often find it challenging to secure accommodation due to this shortage. There are two canteens on campus: the hostel canteen and the university canteen, both serving meals at reasonable prices. However, the taste and quality of the food can be inconsistent, leading some students to leave their meals unfinished. While there is no medical facility on campus, a doctor is available at the TPO office during working hours. Unfortunately, there is no ambulance or medicine shop on campus. Sports such as cricket, volleyball, and football are played, and there is a common room that offers some indoor games.

Faculty: The faculty members are well-qualified, with all professors holding doctorate degrees from top colleges in India and abroad. Many teachers are very helpful, providing notes in an accessible format. The semester exams are of moderate to hard difficulty, with strict monitoring during exams and challenging question papers. The passing percentage is 33%.

Other: I chose this course because I am interested in learning about VLSI technologies. One of the best aspects of the course is that it covers both hardware and software technologies. However, the syllabus needs to be updated to include new chapters and topics.

Not very good facilities and average placements overall. Cleaning in the college is average.

Placements: There are around 60% placements in my course and 55% overall across courses. The highest package is 12 LPA, the lowest is 1.8 LPA, and the average package is around 3-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Byju's, Pinnacle Infotech Solution, and more.

Infrastructure: The labs are well-facilitated, with equipment in good condition, Wi-Fi across the campus, and an AC library. The hostels are clean with good infrastructure, a purified water source, and average food quality. Medical facilities are available, and the college is supportive of games and sports.

Faculty: Teachers are supportive, well-qualified, and their teaching quality is very good. However, the course curriculum does not significantly develop knowledge, although they do prepare students to be industry-ready. The semester exams are not very difficult, and at least 85% of students pass.

Other: I chose this course on my own, as I have an interest in it and am happy with my choice. However, I wish they would improve the syllabus. Fests are not held frequently, and there are not many extracurricular activities.

Aliah University -In Depth.

Placements: Placement in the college are quite low and the percentage varies to 50% Students have to find internship of their own, not provided by college The top roles offered is Technician or associate, but students preferred to go into a related field such as of software engineering, development, etc.

Infrastructure: All the facilities are available in the college with respect to studies and curriculum-related essentials. Hostel food is average all the facilities are quite available mess food is below average and the canteen premises need to be cleaned regularly. Sports and games are also interesting.

Faculty: Teachers who are either Ph.D. or pursuing Ph.D. are the faculty and knowledgeable as well. The courses and curriculum of the college is not relevant or industry-proof, and students have to develop their own skills to be industry-ready Semester examination are of moderately difficult .

Comprehensive overview of Aliah University.

Placements: Almost 50% of the students were placed in the 2024 batch in electronics and communication engineering. Our university's top branch is CSE, which is filled in the first round of counseling. Our top recruiting companies are TCS, Capgemini, Genpact, Livspace, Techno exponent, and India Mart. At our university, the highest package is 9 LPA on campus, whereas 50 LPA is off campus. The lowest package is 2.4 LPA. Almost 70% got an internship in their 3rd year at startups and many more companies.

Infrastructure: Aliah University has a dedicated academic building equipped with modern classrooms, laboratories, and workshops. These facilities are designed to support the specific requirements of engineering education across various branches of computer science, electronics and communication, mechanical and civil engineering. The university provides on-campus hostel accommodation for students pursuing the B.Tech programme.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful at our college. They give suggestions at the end of the semester exam. Almost all teachers have a doctorate degree and are well qualified and disciplined in their specific stream. Of course, this programme helps students get ready for a job and gain industry knowledge.

Other: I am an electronics and communication engineering student. Our batch contains 60 seats for students. I wish to improve the placement scenario in our college because in the 2024 batch, 60% of students were placed, not 100% like JU. Basically, in our college, every year there is an internal hackathon that students get motivated through and improve their skills regarding their interests. Recently, the AURA Tech Fest took place on March 7th and 8th. Many more projects were seen. That gives students more connectivity through hackathons and technical fests.
