The first thing I liked about the university is the faculty,
Placements: Students become eligible for placements from their 3rd year. Companies like Accenture and Cognizant have visited, and offers made are average of 6-7 LPA and the highest package of this year was 44 LPA. The highest package: is 44 LPA, and the average package is 6-7 LPA. 80% of students got placed in a product-based company, like Flipkart, or Amazon.
Infrastructure: The overall experience of my campus life is good. The infrastructure is good with ACs all over the campus which gives great relief in summer. The university should focus more on funding the societies and clubs of the college and also on sports things.
Faculty: Most professors are approachable clear our doubts, also encourage students in a good manner. Some faculty members are exceptional in their teaching style and mentorship. I personally liked our teacher in the 3rd sem, Mr. Akash Jain sir, who taught so well, I liked all the guidance he gave to us. All the teachers are good. They cleared our doubts before the end-semester exams by taking extra online classes. There are two CTs per sem and one end-semester examination which is the final examination taking place every semester.

From quiet halls to DIY fun.
Placements: The placement cell is now being made by the college for our course. Despite making a committee, there are no internships provided by the committee. You can easily get an internship as a paralegal under an advocate while or after completing is degree. You can also work in policy-making and work as a think tank.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of course for law and politics is well-planned and student-friendly. It is a multidisciplinary course and it focuses on both law and politics. The quality of hostel is not that great, in addition to that there are very reserved seats for enrollment in the hostel.
Faculty: Faculty members have deep knowledge, clear teaching methods, and approachable methods that have played a significant role in inspiring a learning environment for students. They not only focus on academic excellence but on overall development as well, offering valuable guidance both inside and outside the classrooms. Their effort to make learning interactive, engaging, and relevant to real-world applications truly stands out.
Other: The campus is not always buzzing with activities or events. You will have to make it special with your own energy and initiative. The campus is way too quiet, you will have to create your own fun and turn quieter days into more fun and energetic ones.

B.A. in Sustainable Urbanism - Batch of 2027
2.8
2Placements3Infrastructure5Faculty2Crowd & Campus Life2Value for Money
Faculty, staff, security, and safety are excellent.
Placements: On successful completion of the programme, a student will be able to, show a good grasp of basic sectoral knowledge to work effectively as skilled urban practitioners. Examine current urban technologies by looking at their design, interests they serve, how they are controlled, and how they can support democracy. Get placed in sustainability departments at different MNCs, one of which is McKinsey. Comprehend and represent the world through numbers, narratives, maps, and visualizations.
Infrastructure: The canteen infrastructure and food are not so good. Hygiene is not maintained properly, the menu is not up to the mark, and prices are high. The computer labs are accessible to students, but the older versions have not been updated. After several complaints to the administration, they still do not listen to students. The library only has books related to courses on campus and does not have much variety. Washrooms are clean, and the staff maintains hygiene. Classrooms, labs, and the library are fully air-conditioned. The ground is big enough to play sports like cricket, football, basketball, badminton, etc. There is a separate ground for badminton.
Faculty: Teachers here excel in their fields, and I don't have words to describe it. The aged teachers have so much experience, and they guide us beautifully, and talk to us so nicely. They explain everything in detail and take us for fieldwork in different areas of Delhi. Teachers provide us with excellent practical as well as theoretical knowledge, and they are highly qualified. The course curriculum is not so relevant, and some things need improvement. The semester exams are easy to clear. The grading system is as follows, O - Outstanding, A+, A, B+, B, C, P, F.
Other: I chose this course as AUD is one of the only colleges in India that provides a programme in Sustainability in Urban areas. Scholarships are there, but there are no extracurricular activities on a vast level. The best thing about my course is that it gives us the ground reality with actual information. We get to understand what the urban world and urbanism are, and how they can be improved using more sustainable options. Elective subjects, with the core ones, need to be improved to enhance more. There are minimal to no events and fests in this university.

M.A. in Law, Politics and Society - Batch of 2028

Satisfied with college. Course curriculum is good and practical.
Placements: Since this is a new course that is being introduced by the BR Ambedkar College. My course name is M.A. in public policy and governance. It is the first batch in this college. There are no placements. But the top roles that are offered in our course are for policy-making decisions and for posts in government offices like Niti Aayog.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure at this college is average. They have a playground and canteen. It is quite decent and the rooms are filled are ventilated by AC. But the chair could use some improvements otherwise the infrastructure is good. The food quality in the canteen is hygienic.
Faculty: Teachers I found are quite knowledgeable. They are qualified and the teaching method they use really fits with my understanding. The course curriculum is really advanced. In this course, there are no annual exams. They only assess based on internal assessments like PPTs and other presentations. We have to do one internship mandatory, and report to the college so I found this method to be really advanced and quite practical.
Other: There are not many fests and other things happening in our college. The societies are not very much active in this college. I chose this college because I really wanted to go into the public policy field and fields related to political science. I wish that the chair would improve and some infrastructure could some improved.

Journey of Ups and Downs - "College Life"
Placements: There is no as such placement cell in our campus but the faculty is very good and we are also taught about Interdisciplinary course. They sometimes offer internship. The students have to find out companies and field from themselves only. The college doesn't provide placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is very good with ac's all around the campus which gives relief from scorching heat in the summers. The college also provides Wifi system. The hostel facility is not that good of the college and the university needs to look into this matter as it is a concern.
Faculty: The faculty of the university is too good and they are also very friendly, they support in the ups and downs of life. The course curriculum is very good and the course is very interdisciplinary. The teachers take 4 exams in a year and the exams are moderate.
Other: I chose this course because it gives a vast knowledge about how society works and the course is also very interdisciplinary and the faculty is very good.

If you want to take opportunity of internship I've said above then definitely go for it.
Placements: This is a course where you learn the B.Com (Hons) syllabus but in a practical way, which means this college will provide an internship under CAs, which means you should do an internship of 2 months after completion of the 1st year, and it's compulsory. If you don't do it, they can't provide your degree to you at the end of the 3rd year.
Infrastructure: There is only hostel facility for girls, so I don't know much, but my friends said that they are good and means easy to survive. And the main thing, the food is good, and the availability of the library, which is I guess the best facility they provide. I can't talk about their Wi-Fi because it has much lower speeds.
Faculty: Teachers are good, which means they teach in a very good manner and in a funny way, which means no boring classes are there. And even there are only online boards which they used to teach, which means they teach us from their prepared PPT, which they provide after the class on the Classroom app, which is much better to revise it as well.
Other: If you take admission for enjoyment, it's not good because it doesn't take much fest and extracurricular activities and anything. I will say go for BBA or Eco Hons in the Kashmere Gate campus because that campus has a lot of benefits and is good from us.

No, it is not true that all students get good placements at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD). While AUD has a placement cell and some companies do recruit from the university, the placement scenario is not universally excellent for all students.
