Candidates who have passed the Bachelorâ€™s Degree from any recognized university, with a minimum mentioned marks of all examinations of the degree in the optional subjects of Journalism shall be eligible for admission. Students who have passed the Bachelors Degree examination of Bangalore University or any other University recognized as equivalent with 50% marks in the aggregate of all the subjects including the languages are eligible to apply.

Placements: Many colleges guarantee placements, but Amity Raipur is one of the universities which provides placements. A number of companies visit our campus to recruit students. Companies select the student on the basis of their academic grades, knowledge about their field, and how a student carries himself/herself. This grooming of students is done right from the beginning of their course at Amity, Raipur.

Infrastructure: Amity, Raipur does not have a majestic grand entrance but has an attention-grabbing and attractive ambience. The building has been designed systematically and divided into different sections for every stream in the university. There are long and spacious corridors where students discuss, engage and learn in a very friendly atmosphere.

Faculty: Faculty members in Amity, Raipur are from various parts of the country. This ensures they are one of the best teaching staff compared to any other college in the state. The teaching staff are very well trained and highly qualified. The teaching style at Amity University, Raipur is different and unique.

Other: Amity University, Raipur has a huge and well-reserved library. The library is of 2-floors and has books of every stream, subject and field. Students can issue any book for 15 days, and then, increase the issue date for more 15 days, but if students don't return the book within the due date, they are charged a nominal fine.

Placements: Amity has a dedicated placement cell which supports students to get a job at the end of their respective courses. Along with assisting the students to get a job, Amity also assists them to get an internship which is a part of their course-curriculum. Moreover, placements of post-graduation courses are the priority of placement cell as students of post-graduation are ready to work in the industry. I have seen the placement of my seniors in well-known organisation. Amity invites the best companies for the placements. The faculty members here also assist the students in obtaining an internship or a job after the completion of their respective courses. Telling about my own experience, I was assisted by one of my professor to obtain an internship in a renowned organisation.

Infrastructure: Amity University Raipur has got the best infrastructure in the state. It has a lush green campus with on-campus hostel facilities. The university is well-equipped with best facilities and amenities for both the students and faculty members, along with amphitheatre style classrooms and air-conditioned academic block. The main attraction of Amity University Raipur is its Audio-Visual studio, theatre style auditorium and world-class library with more than 6000 books. The enchanting Infrastructure of the university provides a harmonious and pleasant environment to the students.

Faculty: Amity University Raipur offers in total 39 undergraduate and postgraduate course of various streams such as Science, commerce & management, communication, Information technology, architecture, engineering, economics and law. Amity has highly qualified and experienced faculty members, the faculty members here are really very supportive and are always ready to share knowledge with the students. Telling about Amity School of Communication, it offers a UG and a PG course in Journalism and Mass Communication. Amity School of Communication has a well-equipped Audio-Visual studio which provides the students with practical knowledge in the field of media.

Other: Here at Amity along with academics, we enjoy other activities as well. Amity conducts two main event during an academic session I. e. , Sangathan- A sports event and Amispark- A techno-cultural fest.
