BFUHS MBBS is a UG course of five and a half year duration. It is divided into nine semester along with a one year mandatory internship. This medical course is offered on campus and through affiliated/ constituent colleges. Students wanting to take admission mujst be Class 12 pass with subjects- Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English. The qualifying exam should have been passed with at least 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST).
BFUHS MBBS admission is done based on NEET UG scores followed by counselling. In this course, 15% of seats are filled through the All India Quota (centralised NEET counselling), and 85% through the Punjab NEET-UG counselling conducted by BFUHS. The university has various affiliated medical colleges, including Guru Gobind Singh Medical College, Faridkot, Government Medical College, Patiala, etc. The eligibility of the candidate for the state quota is as under:
