Any student can avail only one scholarship or financial benefit at a time. Student can choose the more beneficial among the available. Those students who are availing the free (Non-paying) University hostel are not eligible for any other free ship, scholarship, either from the University or Government.Government of India Post-Metric Scholarships are available to Karnataka students belonging to the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes. This scholarship is of Rs. 500/- each per month for 10 months for each year, to each Department of Bangalore University, Bangalore. BPL as defined by Government orders from Government of Karnataka. Application forms to be procured from Director of Student Welfare Office and should be forwarded by the head of the Department enclosing relevant income certificate and BPL card signed by the concerned Government authority. Students coming under payment category, Self financing course and those who are admitted for second PG Course are not eligible for this Scholarship, an Affidavit to be enclosed declaring that they are not Double PG and not coming under payment category, Self Financing course and those who are admitted for second PG Course are not eligible for this Scholarship. Students who have claimed any other scholarships are not only eligible for this scholarship. This scholarship is administered by the University.

Yes, Bangalore University offers a hostel and various other facilities to students. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Visit the official website and check what are the charges for the hostel and decide whether to avail of this facility or not. The hostel is safe for students and proper security is maintained at the hostel for the students. 

A pass in bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 50% aggregate (45% in case of SC/ ST candidates) is required to apply for the MBA course. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at later stages of admission. Apart from fulfiling the qualifications, candidates also need to pass MAT,  CAT,  Alliance-MAT,  XAT,  NMAT,  CMAT,  KMAT or GMAT for admission to MBA course followed by Oral Extempore Presentation and personal interview. The school also considers the academic performance of the aspirants for providing admission.

At University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, applicants can enrol in undergraduate and graduate programmes. Architecture engineering, civil engineering, computer science engineering, electronics and communication engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, mechanical engineering, information technology, geotechnical engineering, structural engineering, and environmental engineering are among the branches of UVCE Bangalore where admissions are available. B.Tech., B.Arch., M.Tech., M.Arch., and more courses are available through UVCE Bangalore for University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering admissions. Candidates must take the Common Entrance Test administered by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) in order to be considered for UG admissions to the University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering's B.Tech programme. The authorities would accept NATA or JEE Main marks for B.Arch admissions. The University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering would consider GATE/PGCET-qualified students for PG admissions.
