Bangalore University campus is situated in the Garden City of Bangalore. The university houses laboratories, classrooms, a library, hostels, and cafeterias. In early 1964, it was constituted from Central College (CC) and University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE) as an offshoot of the University of Mysore. In 1973, it shifted to a new campus named Jnana Bharathi (JB), sprawling over an area of 1,100 acres. Currently, the JB Campus houses the office of the Vice Chancellor, Registrar, Registrar (Evaluation), Finance Officer and many postgraduate departments, Directorates, Centres of higher learning, NSS Bhavan, Outdoor Stadium and other support services. BUB Central Library, JB Campus
Jnana Bharati campus has the main library of Bangalore University, equipped with a 24*7 Wi-Fi connection. It comprises 3.5 lakh books and 20,000+ e-journals. Students can available digital sources like INFLIBNET, Shodhganga, and J-Gate to access online resources and repositories for research and learning purposes. It also stores a vast variety of Braille material, rare books, and thesis banks. Bangalore University has 6 boys hostel and 1 girls hostel in Jnana Bharti Campus, 1 boys and 2 Girls hostel in Central College Campus, 1 Boys and 1 Girls hostel in PG Centre, Kolar Campus. Infrastructure Reviews
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good, but a point to note is that the Wi-Fi does not always work and the network is often very slow in the campus buildings, otherwise, the campus, classrooms. Labs are good, and there are canteens around the campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that great. It is a small college. The college does have Wi-Fi and hostel facilities. The college is doing well in sports and games in recent years and offers a variety of different games for every individual who has different interests in many things.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are spacious. There’s proper ventilation, and hygiene is maintained in the washrooms too. We have a library, and it's very useful. Wi-Fi is only for the staff, not for students. There are science labs, an electronics lab, a mathematics lab, and a computer lab. There's also a canteen; overall, the infrastructure is good.
Infrastructure: Don’t know about hostel, but friends are staying, and it is like a pure jail, no freedom. Also, the infrastructure as of now is very average. New buildings are not good. Currently, new buildings are constructed, but as of now, it’s very average.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure in our course are well-equipped. Wi-Fi is available in the class and labs. Wi-Fi is also available in the hostel, but with limited data. Labs and classrooms are well-equipped with AC. The hostel and mess food are adjustable. A paid canteen is also available. Medical facilities are available all the time.
Infrastructure: It has well-maintained classrooms with smartboards and a fully equipped library, wi-fi is a bit slow, and modern computer labs that support effective learning. It provides professions environment with seminar halls, project labs, well organized academic facilities.
Infrastructure: We have very good infrastructure and facilities like a library, computer lab, canteen, classrooms, and seminar halls. Every room has a Wi-Fi facility. The college is surveilled with CCTV cameras. It provides all the basic facilities required in a college. Overall, the infrastructure is good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. The college looks like a coaching center rather than a large campus. Events are sometimes held in corridors or the gallery. Classrooms are good, well-ventilated, and air-conditioned. Hostel facilities are basic, with food being just average, but manageable.
Infrastructure: The college provides us with Wi-Fi, smart board, and library for student use, and laptops are given. The college has exchange programs and interactive sessions. The college gives hostel facility as well for 1 year, and transport is provided as well for a price.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is good. The lab and classrooms have centralized AC. The quality of food in the hostel mess is good. All the problems are being rectified as soon as possible. The hostel management is extremely helpful and kind. They always conduct surveys among students to know their problems.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our university is amongst the top, as they are trying to provide us with everything as much as possible. The hostel facilities are not up to the mark because there is a lot of shortage in everything. Other than that, we have good labs, classrooms, and libraries.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good and knowledgeable; they teach very well which is easily understood. Infrastructure of our college is very beautiful and wide, which has many spots to explore. Many courses and departments are there to choose from. Classrooms are also good, well cleaned, along with a big library. Hostel facilities are also satisfactory because it consists of all essential needs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is small but has all the facilities related to study. Wi-Fi works fine, and there are 2 computer labs and also Bloomberg terminals, with which you can get certification. There are two libraries. I don’t know about the quality of the hostel and food.
Infrastructure: Classrooms have centralized ACs, and the students are extremely comfortable with the libraries and hostel, where we can expect good food and hygiene. Sports are conducted every academic year. Apart from that, indoor games are always available on the campus.
Infrastructure: The campus is neat with good classrooms, a library, and common spaces. Life here is balanced-while academics are rigorous, cultural events, management fests, and clubs make it engaging. It is a good environment to build a peer network and learn teamwork. A new reading room has been allotted, and we have digital library access.
