Bangalore University campus is situated in the Garden City of Bangalore, often renowned as "I.T. Capital of India". The university houses laboratories, classrooms, a library, hostels, and cafeterias. In early 1964, it was constituted from Central College (CC) and University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE) as an offshoot of the University of Mysore. In 1973, it shifted to a new campus named Jnana Bharathi (JB), sprawling over an area of 1,100 acres. Apart from that, student enjoy their hostel life, so overall it's great, and food generally comes 4 times in a full day.
