Review of the Cyber Security department at UVCE.

Faculty: Most faculty members are PhD holders. They are very friendly with students and help us during internships and projects. Exams are fair and slightly difficult. Exams are of 100 marks, 70 marks for theory, and 30 marks for practicals. The pass marks are 21 out of 70.

Overall, it’s just a normal, average college.

Faculty: Faculty is very good. They are helpful and guide projects, provide practical training, or manage college events. Teaching is strong, exams are conducted fairly, strictly, and at regular intervals.

Good placements and facilities.

Faculty: Faculty is qualified and have PhDs mostly. We have a library where you can borrow books from. It also has e-library. Faculty is okay too. Any doubts can be rectified with them or from textbooks as well. We have a membership card for library to avail its benefits. Overall good college and faculty, and you can make friends from different cultures and interact with them to broaden your inter-region friends.

It's the best for some students and a drawback for some.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable, but the only issue we face is the teaching style of some teachers, as some of us don't catch up with their way of teaching, and everyone has their own way of understanding things. So teachers must be a little flexible when teaching.

Marvelous. Good infrastructure.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. As I am a 1st year student, I have completed two internals only, both are conducted very strictly, and about questions, they are highly important and difficult. Course curriculum includes technical events and hackathons.

Small infrastructure with extensive knowledge and scope.

Faculty: All faculty members have an MBA degree, and the majority of the faculty have a Ph.D. in their specialization. The knowledge of the faculty is good, and the curriculum of the syllabus is updated according to industry requirements, which provides more help to the students.

Good academics with decent placements and supportive faculty - IIBS college review 2026.

Faculty: Teachers are extremely helpful and have corporate experience of 5 to 6 years on average. They guide each and every individual intellectually. The curriculum is relevant and helps us study in depth regarding the specializations we choose. As we have the trimester system, we are given sufficient time to prepare for the exams.

A real PGDM experience at IIBS Bangalore.

Faculty: The faculty here is approachable, supportive, and industry-oriented. Most professors share real-world examples and up-to-date events in classroom discussions, conduct case studies, and encourage discussions that boost decision-making and analytical skills. They are supportive when you need guidance for projects.

Okay, faculty, decent placements, not much of a Campus.

Faculty: Few M.Com graduates are teachers but teachers with Ph.D. S too. B.Com regular teaching is not that good. It makes students industry ready by making presentations and speeches mandatory for internal assessment. Moderately difficult semester exams with a good pass percentage.

Dissatisfied with teaching.

Faculty: Most of the teachers who handle B.Com subjects don't teach well, but the staff who handle professional course subjects teach pretty well. The exams are very easy. There is no need to get stressed about exams. The college says they have hired qualified staff, but it's not 100% true. Some teachers handle subjects well, but most of them don't. And for the first two semesters, they teach 11th and 12th grades, so I feel like the first year is a waste.

Minimum satisfaction with the faculty, average placements in 2024 .

Faculty: In the college, teachers are very friendly. They help with academics and other things, like research papers, certifications, etc. Most of the syllabus in our course is practical, and industrial visits are also arranged for our batch to companies like Titan and Coca-Cola for a real work environment experience.

To summarize, IIBS is a good college for PGDM and MBA, with good facilities for the students.

Faculty: Being a PGDM batch, it has 6 semesters over 2 years. Each semester is 3 months long, with frequent exams and good industry exposure for students. The curriculum is practical-based which is good for students to gain hands-on experience in the industry they want to enter.

Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable, supportive, and approachable. Most professors explain concepts clearly and are open to doubt-solving sessions. The curriculum is industry-oriented and covers both theoretical knowledge and practical exposure. Seminars, presentations, assignments, and project works helped students to improve communication and professional skills.
