All about BIDHAN CHANDRA KRISHI VISWAVIDYALAYA.

Placements: The placements are quite good. All over India P.G. in Agricultural Chemicals is taught in only 4 universities among them BCKV has a nice reputation. Companies of pesticides and fertilizers visited. Many have scope to give competitive exams and crack for the rest.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. The facility of education is very good along with three faculty members ie. Horticulture, agriculture, Ag. Engineering. The education system is very good. There is a wide scope of various aspects after completing a B.Sc. (Ag. ). Course. And the medical facility, library, gymnasium, etc. all facilities are there.

Faculty: There are basically 3 departments with qualified faculty. Agriculture-16 Dept. Horticulture-5 Dept. Ag. Engineering- 4 Dept. These are faculty members and the course of B.Sc. (Ag. B.Sc. (Hort), B.Tech (Ag) all are 4 years course, 8 semesters and for the master's the course is of 2 years ie 4th semesters. All students have to qualify an aptitude test for pursuing post-graduation.

Other: A huge mass of students resides in the campus in various hostel. The hostel facilities are very good.

Student should not below 19 years of age as on 31.08.2025.
