I am absolutely dissatisfied with the language problems.

Faculty: It is one of the best State agricultural universities in West Bengal. Professors are good, highly qualified, and helpful. If we don't know the Bengal language then we face difficulty in classes because many professors do not know English. Each year 2 exams are held. There are mid-term for 20 marks and end term for 50 marks with practical exams of 30 marks. If we fail in 4 subjects then we will get a year back also. So, students should try to pass in every subject. The pass percentage is about 90...

It is an above average college having a great campus life, but no placements.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful and all of them are Ph.D. holders. They teach like we’re their own children. Lack of smart boards make the lectures tough. Agriculture is a good course and the students are prepared for a vast field beside the course. There are two semesters in a year having a total of eight semesters. Duration of one semester is around 6 months including mid sem, end sem and practical exams. Students who fail in more than 4 subjects, get a year back.

This university provides better education and safe environment.

Faculty: Faculty is very much helpful, and highly qualified. Professors and assistant professors and other part of faculty always can be trusted to teach more than only the syllabus. Semester exams are difficult at some particular semesters and guard is very strict. So, learning is very important in this university.

Absolutely satisfied for higher education.

Faculty: Pass percentage is 80. Teaching quality is awesome. Exams are hard and the course is absolutely relevant. The students are accepted in foreign institutions as well as in top notch institutions of the country. They even get selected in international internships.

This is the best university for agriculture students.

Faculty: The main objective of this Vishwavidyala is to provide facilities for the study of agriculture, horticulture, and agricultural engineering. It also conducts research for the Ph.D. scholar. Practical class regularly happens with proper knowledge and guidelines.

Average university. Not worth the hype it gets.

Faculty: Teaching quality is average. Curriculum needs to be updated and clearly it is not relevant according to modern standards. The syllabus is boring and overall, class routine is hectic and tiring. Tends to take out the soul out of even that person who once loved the subject.

I am moderately satisfied because of placements but nice environment as it is rural area.

Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and helpful. All the teachers have the required degree. The course curriculum doesn't make the student industry-ready. Semester exams are quite tough. The course mainly focuses on learning facts and helping the farmers.
