It is a quite good college to get a BCA degree If your budget is low.

Placements: The placement rate is about 20 to 25%, and good companies do not consider it a good college. At Guru Nanak College, there are no placements. It is an open-study college. If you want a placement, then you have to take it off campus. Other than this, the college is good. There are no recruiting companies for the BCA course. 0% of students got internships from my college. Companies don't come to give jobs.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available. Two labs are available with more than 30 systems each. There are more than 5 classrooms for BCA. A library is also available. The hostel is good enough. Facilities for sports and games are not good.

Faculty: The best faculty members I have ever seen. I have seen only 10 faculty members in the college but their behaviour is excellent. They help in almost every situation and exams are good as well. You can take your exams from the nearest exam center. You have to choose your nearest centre. Some say the faculty members are excellent and helpful. Teachers are very disciplined. Some teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, but some are not very qualified. Our course curriculum is relevant. It also makes students industry-ready if they are hardworking. Semester exams are difficult, but an average student can easily pass them.

Other: Students say it's a good college for BCA, especially for those on a low budget. Some say it's a very good college for distance learners. In our college. The minimum pass percentage is 75%. The highest package is approximately 6 LPA. The lowest package is less than 2.5 LPA. If we talk about the company, some financial companies like Bajaj Capital, Tata AI Insurance, etc., visit our college. The percentage of students who got internships is not so good, it's average.

Review of Bokaro Steel City College, Bokaro.

Placements: There are no real placements in our course. Few seniors got placed off campus almost. Only 3 to 4 students get placed in a batch which is not worth it. The salary package offered ranges from 2 LPA to 3 LPA mostly. Companies such as TCS and Wipro visit the campus.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is mostly like old school. The new age building is new and has modern teaching tools in it. But most of the old one needs renovation as soon as possible. The new ones have Wi-Fi and digital classrooms with projectors and everything. There is no hostel in the college.

Faculty: Teaching is quite helpful and informative in this college, or I can say in our course they guide you whenever you need. The curriculum is the latest but we can't depend on it only. We should have a backup for our future. The semester exams are moderately tough. Out of 100, 28 is the passing mark.

Other: If a student has other options for going, out they can go. But if he has money constraints and wants a college near home, this is for them.

Satisfied because of good teachers but the facility here is too bad.

Placements: You won't get a campus placement. You have to do it on your own. Teachers will help you a little bit but you have to do it with your own ability. Many of our seniors got placed at TCS and Wipro. On average, they get INR 3–4 cs/annum. It's a decent one.

Infrastructure: The BCA Department has nice infrastructure. The department is not too good. Because of regular power cuts in the summers, you might face some issues. So its like an average and decent depth. BCA does not currently offer a hostel service.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful and well qualified. They help the students in all ways they need and their teaching technique is also good. The teachers encourage the students to do well and also help them get placed somewhere. But the schedule of exams is not good.

Other: I chose this course because I want to learn more about programming languages and computer software. You can take BCA if you have an interest in programming.

Placements: In Guru Nanak college, there are no placements. It is an open study college. If you want a placement then you have to take it off campus. Other than this, the college is good. There are no recruiting companies for BCA course. 0% students got internship from my college. Companies don't come to give jobs.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good in Guru Nanak. There are many hostels to live in. Food is good and infrastructure is pretty much good. Courses are also good and there are pocket friendly courses. We received books from college by post. There are several courses which we can learn after our graduation.

It is the best college in Bokaro but not satisfied with the cleanliness of this college.

Placements: The placement team was active. Approximately 60-70% of students got placed in this course. The average salary package offered ranges between 2 LPA to 3 LPA. In the final semester, students also got live project experience. This college also collaborated with institutes or small firms for internships and live project experiences.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was very good. Around 70 students could accommodate easily in each classroom. Smart boards were installed in our classrooms. The auditorium had a capacity of 1,500 students. There were 2 galleries with a capacity of 300-400 students. Laboratories were well-equipped.

Faculty: This college followed the latest course curriculum of UGC. All faculty members were experienced, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Semester exams were conducted as per schedule. Students had to maintain at least 75% of attendance for attending examinations. The mode of filling out the examination form was online.

Other: BCA was one of the most demanding courses. This was a vocational course, which was better than all other general UG courses. It included the latest software technologies. Our college conducted events such as seminars, Ted Talks, webinars, etc.
