However, it offers direct admission to candidates who have topped the Class 12 exams, irrespective of their scores in BITSAT. BITSAT entrance tests candidates logical, reasoning, and analytical capabilities. Other than this, candidates need to be good in mathematics and Science to do well in the entrance exam at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (BITS Pilani, Rajasthan). .

The eligibility criteria for BITS HyderabadM.Techadmissions is that candidate should have passed Class 12 pass from a recognised board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and adequate proficiency in English. Additionally, students should have at least 75% overall aggregate in Class 12 and at least 60% aggregate in each of the subjects, including Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The entrance exams accepted include GATE/ BITS HD Online Test + GDPI.

To qualify BITSAT the students are advised to create a strong preparation plan. Firstly, the students should check and be familiar with the BITSAT exam pattern and syllabus. This will allow the students to understand how the examination will be held and know the subjects and topics that have to be studied. A proper timetable has to be created that will allow the students to finish the syllabus beforehand and give them enough time for revision. Mock tests and sample papers should be attempted regularly so that they are able to understand their weak areas and work on them. Students should also ensure that they get enough rest and are healthy fo the examination.
