CCSU - Chaudhary Charan Singh University Meerut Answered Questions

The fee for CCS HAU B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture is paid semester-wise and annually. The semester-wise charges include tuition fees, college development fund, examination fees, amalgamated fund, and other funds. The annual charges include admission fees, library fund, college magazine fund, medical fund, sports and youth welfare fund, red cross fund, laboratory fee, and personal accident policy.

The admission criteria for Master of Laws (LL.M) at CCSU for reserved category students includes a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent grade in LL.B./B.A.-LL.B./B.Sc.-LL.B./B.Com-LL.B./B.B.A.-LL.B. with an undergraduate degree (50% marks each). Reservation rules will be followed as per the U.P. State Government orders. The students who have appeared/appearing in their final qualifying degree exams and, if the result is awaited, such candidates may apply. However, for admission, minimum eligibility as per the information brochure is mandatory.

The CCSU offers admission to the Master of Laws (LL.M) course based on the entrance test. The entrance test will be of a single question paper of 2 hours duration containing 100 objective type questions, based on 10 questions each from 10 papers of the subject. Merit will be prepared for admission in LL.M programme on the basis of entrance score only.

The Master of Education (M.Ed.) at CCSU is a 2-year regular programme with 25 seats, offering a blend of theoretical and practical components along with a dissertation. Eligible candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in B.Ed./B.A.B.Ed./ B.Sc. B.Ed./ B.El.Ed (with relaxation of 5% for SC/ST candidates) or D.El.Ed. with an undergraduate degree. Admission is through an entrance test conducted by the university.

Eligibility Criteria for BPES (CCSU) 1. Academic Qualification Applicants must have completed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board. Required minimum marks: General/OBC candidates: at least 45% SC/ST candidates: at least 40%  A sports participation certificate is mandatory for allapplicants. 2. Selection Process ComponentsAdmission to BPES involves multiple stages, assessed cumulatively: Physical Fitness & Efficiency Test – includes endurance, strength, flexibility, sports skill assessments, etc. Personal Interview – evaluated out of 10 marks. University Weightage – scored out of 8 marks (as per CCSU's Appendix 4). Academic Weightage – out of 14 marks; full 14 marks for First Division, 10 marks for Second Division. Minimum Physical Fitness Threshold – candidates must achieve at least 30% average percentile score in the physical fitness test to qualify. Not participating in any item disqualifies the candidate.     3. Merit List & Reservation Final merit ranking is based on the aggregate score from all the above components. Reservation is applied as per government norms (e.g., for SC, ST, OBC, PwD, etc.).   

CCSU placements are good. As per the NIRF report 2024, the median package offered to BTech students during 2023 placements was INR 3.50 LPA. For UG (5-year) Law courses and LLM, the median package 2023 stood at INR 3.84 LPA and INR 4.05 LPA, respectively.
