The University of Gujarat has begun with admissions process. Aspirants have to deposit a specific amount for the application form. Registration fee is INR 650, and INR 800 respectively for both UG and PG programmes. The amount for the application form is non-refundable. Moreover, candidates can download their admit cards available on the official website of the college. Candidates have to pay no other fee other than registration fee while the prcoess. They can select the payment mode according to their convenience. 

The selection process for a B.A. differs from one college to another. While many central universities and colleges have come to accept CUET scores as an admission requirement, many colleges still proceed with their entrance test. To get admission into a particular college, the candidate must go through the college's official website and find out the requirements. The CUET average score previously was required around 700 and more for better colleges, while now that the pattern has changed and students only need to opt for a lesser number of subjects, the cut-off will also depend on the same.

Central University of Gujarat offers admission to various PG courses including MA, MSc and MLib.Sc based on CUET PG scores followed by round-wise counselling. The university releases the merit lists for candidates who qualify for the cutoff. As per the Central University of Gujarat cutoff 2023, the Round 1 closing score for M.Sc. in Life Sciences is 243, which is the highest score of all the PG courses. The next the highest score is 230 for M.A. in English, followed by M.A. in Defence and Strategic Studies at 222 for the General category students belonging to All India Quota.
