- Candidate should have passed 10+2 Examination or equivalent with at-least 60% aggregate marks from a recognised board in 2023/2024 or who are appearing in their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2025 are eligible.
- Candidates must have taken at least five subjects in class 12th/qualifying examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry /Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects.
- Minimum 60% aggregate marks or its equivalent on Grading Scale of respective Boards/ Universities (55% for SC/ST/PwD candidates) at 10+2 level with Mathematics & Physics or Mathematics & Computer as subjects.
- Candidate should have passed 10+2 Examination or equivalent with at-least 60% aggregate marks from a recognised board in 2023/2024 or who are appearing in their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2025 are eligible.
- Candidates must have taken at least five subjects in class 12th/qualifying examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry /Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects.

To get a seat in CU Jammu for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security), candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria, which includes passing 10+2 examination with at least 65% aggregate marks (or 60% for SC, ST, and PwD) and having a valid JEE (mains) score. Additionally, candidates must be within the category-wise top 20 percentiles of successful candidates in their respective Class XII board examination. The aggregate marks will be calculated based on the marks scored in Physics, Chemistry, and other subjects. Reservation for eligible candidates is as per GoI rules.

Central University of Jammu cutoff 2025 has been released for the round 1. The cutoff has been released for admission to BTech and BTech Integrated courses, on the basis of JEE Main scores. The cutoff was released for different categories belonging to the All India quotas. Among the General AI category candidates, the cutoff ranks varied between 62430 and 72614. The most desired course among the General AI category candidates was B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering.
