Q:   How can I get direct admission at CV Raman Global University?

A: 

CV Raman Global University offers direct admission to diploma courses. Further, for admission to UG and PG courses, candidates are required to follow the admission process, which includes the submission of the application form, entrance test, release of merit list, counselling process and final fee payment process. Candidates seeking admission to CV Raman Global College must follow the step-wise admission process as given below.

Step 1: Application Process 2024

Aspirants fulfilling the course-specific eligibility requirements can apply for CGET by visiting the university's official website, CV Raman College of Engineering, for some UG and PG courses. The aspirants shall ensure that they apply within the due date.

Step 2: Selection Round

Further, aspirants are required to appear for the entrance test, i.e., JEE Main, OJEE, GATE, CGET, etc.

Step 3: Release of the Merit List

Based on the marks secured in the entrance test, the college will release a merit list of selected students for the CGET counselling round. Further, aspirants are required to appear for the counselling process.

Step 4: Counselling Process and Fee Payment

Shortlisted candidates are only eligible to appear in the counselling round. After the counselling round, selected candidates are required to pay the admission fee to confirm their seats for admission.

Q:   Is refund policy available at CV Raman Global University?

A: 

Yes, there is a refund policy for withdrawl. Refuund will be made as per the university norms in concurrence with UGC/AICTE notification time to time. All refundable deposits will be returned, after detuctions if any, at the time of completion of the course or on cancellation of ad mission. The refund will be made through account tarnsfer to the account number mentioned in the withdraw request. therefore, provide the correct account details. In case of refund through DD, the DD will be made only in the name if the candidate.

C. V. Raman Global University application process is online. The candidates are required to apply only online as per the procedure detailed below. 

  1. Candidates can apply for CGET-2024 only through "Online" mode.
  2. The candidates should provide all the authentic details while filling up the online form.
  3. On submission of details, an Application Number shall be generated.
  4. The candidate has to fill in the particulars online and also upload his/her photograph and full signature.
  5. Candidates must retain the printouts of the Computer Generated Application Form as a reference for future correspondence.
  6. An application must be completed in all respects. Incomplete/unsuccessful submission of the application will lead to rejection.
  7. Applicant should give options only concerning Reservation Categories (SC/ST/GC/ PWD/EX) that he/she can substantiate the same with documentary evidence during document verification/counselling. There is no provision of uploading any proof of these categories during online registration.

The college & placements are good, the fees are reasonable, and the college life is enjoyable.
Placements: The placement scenario is good, with a good number of companies visiting the college every year. The highest package offered is 39 lakh, with an average of 7-9 lakh and the lowest being 4 lakh per annum. Cognizant, Accenture, and Deloitte are some companies that are mass recruiters for this college. Over 80% of the students get placed every year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is excellent. Wi-Fi, labs, and digital classrooms are very good. The hostel is also nice, and the mess food is satisfactory. Medical support is available on campus, and an ambulance is there to take you to other hospitals. All types of sports grounds are available, such as cricket, volleyball, and basketball.
Faculty: The faculty is good; most of them are from IIT backgrounds and are very helpful at any time. The examinations are tough, and there is a goal-oriented teaching system. A minimum of 40% is required to pass in any subject. Training programs are conducted for better placement, and the student list is filtered for their betterment.
Other: There are many events happening regularly, with different clubs for singing, acting, drama, etc. Connectivity is also good, depending on your needs.

Honest review and development.
Placements: 70 to 80% of students were placed, with the highest package being 24 lakhs. Top recruiters include TCS, Wipro, and Gupshup. Roles offered are in data science and artificial intelligence. About 10 percent got internships, and you have to conduct research papers on your own and participate in hackathons to gain knowledge.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but the campus is relatively small. Labs have AC, while normal classrooms have fans. Faculty members are average. Wi-Fi does not work in hostels, but it is somewhat functional in the labs. The mess food is not good at all, so it’s better to live outside and have at least three meals a day.
Faculty: The faculty is not good, and we have to manage a lot on our own. However, the course is relevant. The semesters are average and manageable, and we somehow manage to pass the exams. The course curriculum is relevant, and they also offer additional subjects for industrial development purposes.

Good infrastructure but Bad teachers.
Placements: The number of students placed in campus placements is very low. Even the core students are not able to secure a good placement. Due to various reasons, most of the companies coming to campus are mostly startups or companies with low offers, averaging about 3.5-4 LPA. It is very hard for the students to get an internship due to the outdated course structure.
Infrastructure: With a fairly large campus, the college is spread all over with disconnected buildings like fragments. The Wi-Fi is not reliable, but the college has a good network exception all across the campus. The classroom is equipped with smartboards. The condition of the hostel is not good.
Faculty: The knowledge of the teachers is not that well about their respected subjects, and some even lack the basic teaching skills. The course curriculum feels irrelevant to industry standards. The semester curriculum is very vast, which incorporates all the subjects that are in B.Tech, but the time period given with the faculty standard makes it difficult to score good marks.
Other: The college barely conducts any events with all the responsibility on the students, and even the funds required for those events are funded from college students.

I will suggest each one looking for some good college ,go for it
Placements: Placement was main eye-catching factor of this college with a good nirf ranking. I didn't face any Group discussions, interviews or written tests for admission. Our college has a good academic results and also focuses on the improvement of students and also provide facilities to faculties. Over 100 plus companies recruits from our college. But the management here is not that great. Sudden notices will be declared or sudden exams and all, summer internships regarding mails are also randomly sent to few students and sometimes few minutes before the deadline due to which many students fail to apply.
Infrastructure: The hostels are quite nice and clean. The food served at the mess is quite delicious but can't beat home-made food. The hostels are big enough to keep 500 students. The caretakers are also very nice and supportive. Each day the room is cleaned by cleaners.
Faculty: The reason I chose this course is because of rise of tech industry in this generation. All the faculties of our College are PhD holders and are very knowledgeable. Their teaching methods are great and very understanding. There are 2 exams every semester. One is Between the semester and the other is at the end of semester.
Other: Our College also provides internship opportunities during the 3rd and final year of college. The companies that hire mostly are TCS, Wipro and Cognizant. They offer around 15k to 30k as stipend and teach us many industry level things.

I am thankful to the university for giving me admission and helping me build a good career.
Placements: 86% of students in my course got placed. The highest package offered is 36 LPA, and the average package is around 5-6 LPA. About 78% of students secured their dream jobs. The criteria for placement are above 60% marks in both 10th and 12th exams. Students need to be focused and intelligent in their studies. Thank you.
Infrastructure: The CSE department has 12 sub-branches including CSE, CSE AIML, CSE IT, CSE AIDS, CSE DS, and more. These branches are available for all B.Tech courses. Classroom strength is 90. The hostel offers options based on your needs, like 2-bed, 3-bed, 4-bed, and AC rooms.
Faculty: All teachers are postgraduates from top universities in India and abroad. They teach like parents. The exam system is divided into 3 types: Mid Sem, End Sem, and Internal. The passing percentage is 60% for each subject.
Other: The course is very interesting and makes you feel ready to secure a good job. The campus is green and hosts many events like Ganesh Puja, Saraswati Puja, Roshni Night, and the Freshers Party.
