Q:   When are Sri University application forms out?
A: 

The application forms for Sri University for the 2024-25 academic year were released on 10th December 2023. The application form is available only through online mode, and the cost of the application form for all programs is Rs. 500 for Indian nationals and 50 USD for international applicants. Interested candidates can apply online on the official website of the university. The last date to submit the Sri University application forms for the 2024-25 academic year is 30th September 2023

Yes, apart from the valid score of SSU CET, students can also get admission to MBA via CAT entrance exam. If students score 70 percentile in CAT, they can get admission to MBA course at Sri University. If they qualify the CAT exam, then they don't need to appear for SSU CET. The final selection through CAT is done based on the performance of candidates in Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds.

A: 

Yes, Sri University accepts JEE Main scores for admission to its B.E/B.Tech and B.Arch courses, among other national-level entrance exams such as NATA, CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, and ATMA for various programs including MBA.

Apart from the SSU CET, the university also accepts scores of the following entrance exams:

  1. JEE Main for B.E/B.Tech courses
  2. NATA for B.Arch courses

Q:   How can I apply for BSc at Sri University?

 In order to apply for at SSU, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place and qualify for SSU CET entrance exam, which is a mandatory step for admission. As per the next step, students need to fill an online application form by filing all the appropriate details along with submitting the required documents and paying an application amount of INR 300.

Q:   Is Sri University good for BSC Agriculture?
A: 

 Sri University offers a BSc (Hons) course in the specialisation of Agriculture for the duration of four years. For this course, a total 120 seats are offered by the university. During the commencement of this course, the university also provides extracurricular activities for the development of students. B.Sc. (hons) agriculture in SSU.
Placements: Placement of agricultural courses is not that exciting. You can get placed in industrial applications or in some sort of government scheme or job. Mostly pursuing a PG after this course is recommended so that you can add more skills to your resume.
Infrastructure: Hostel and college infrastructure are great. Hostel is beautiful and lush with greenery all around. The girl's hostel is near the academic building which is very helpful as this proximity means we don't get tired much. But the boys' rooms are very far almost 1 km, so they have to walk to commute to class.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive. They have great knowledge and expertise in their own subjects. Course is more practical based than just theory. We are required to perform various experiments and processes related to agricultural practices or plantations.

Overall, the college is good. It's a vegetarian campus so many students may have difficulties.
Placements: 80% of students got placed from our course. The highest is 12 LPA, the lowest is 2 LPA, and the average is 8 LPA. IBM and TCS are the topics recruiting companies. 90% of students got internships. Web-developer and development roles are offered in AIML where we have to make the model.
Infrastructure: The good library with plenty of books and Wi-Fi is not working properly some of the time, they don't take us to the lab they just make us do the lab in virtual mode. Hostel rooms are normal but the quality of food is very bad. It has a hospital inside the campus and encourages us to participate in different types of sports.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly and helpful to us to reach our goal. I am very satisfied with this college. Semester exams are difficult but before that teacher helps us by giving the important questions and making every topic understood line by line.

Life at Sri University.
Placements: Bachelors in psychology and contemplative studies do not have any placement options offered by the university. Most students opt for a master's and Ph.D. (higher education) as it is the minimum job requirement in the market. Every student gets an internship as it's a part of our course in their 2nd year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great. The university is growing every day, and so far, everything is great. The food can be a little bit of an issue as they don't allow non-vegetarian. Wi-Fi works almost everywhere on campus. We have good-quality classrooms, labs, and libraries.
Faculty: Faculty members are like a family here. Everyone is very nice, and FCBS feels like home. The teaching quality could improve, and teachers' retention is low. The curriculum is extremely interesting and fascinating. It arms students with extra skills that not only help their future clients as psychologists but also help themselves. Exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is 50%. It combines internal and external exams.

Sri University: Great infrastructure and decent placements, but the faculty needs improvement.
Placements: 86% of students get placed. The highest package is 20 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. TCS, Accenture, and AON are some of the top recruiting companies at Sri University. 100% of students secure internships, with most doing them independently. Top architecture roles include architectural manager, urban planner, senior architect, BIM specialist, and principal architect, with salaries ranging from 8 LPA to 30 LPA.
Infrastructure: Sri University offers excellent facilities, including a Wi-Fi-enabled campus, modern labs (computer, design, physics, and electronics), and air-conditioned classrooms with projectors and smart boards. An extensive library with digital resources, sports facilities (cricket, football, basketball, badminton, volleyball), a gym, auditorium, cafeteria, medical facilities with 24/7 ambulance service, and well-maintained hostels with attached bathrooms and laundry services.
Faculty: Faculty at Sri University College of Architecture is highly qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. The architecture curriculum at Sri University is industry-relevant and designed to make students industry-ready. It includes practical exposure through studio-based projects and internships, skill development in architectural software and design, and a holistic approach incorporating environmental science and urban planning. Absolutely satisfied with the type of infrastructure and good placement opportunities.
Placements: Around 100% of students are being placed currently from our university. The top recruiting companies where our students are placed are TCS, Accenture, and Cognizant. The students have also got huge internship opportunities in multinational tech companies. The top roles offered on our campus for this course are data analyst, software engineer, AI research scientist, and AI software developer.
Infrastructure: Facilities available in my college include classrooms with strong Wi-Fi connectivity and a library with all kinds of books and study materials. Excellent quality food in both the mess and canteen, excellent medical facilities, and all kinds of sports equipment.
Faculty: All the faculty members are highly educated and highly qualified, and their teaching qualities are excellent. The course is relevant and it also makes the students industry-ready, and the semester exams of this college are not very difficult as compared to other colleges.
Other: I feel great about the university. The campus crowd is also excellent. The surroundings of this campus are very great. Our campus also provides great scholarship opportunities for many students.

It has good food options here. I loved the Saturday dinner especially.
Placements: I am a 5th batch student and I have no idea about how many students get placed. I have heard of one senior who got placed but he didn't accept the offer. The highest package ranges from 13-14 LPA. The lowest salary offered ranges from Rs. 40,000-50,000 per month. IBM is the top company. Many students get internships. 1 month before 2 students of my batch got internships in NISER.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is top-notch and sculptures in each hostel here are built beautifully. The hostel facilities are quite good and we have to manage it with our other 2 roommates. The mess food is good. I like their breakfast especially.
Faculty: Teachers here are nice but the accent of English is quite average like the students from other states need to translate their accents. Semester exams are not so tough and not so easy. The course curriculum is relevant and they do have some extra labs like solar labs.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become a data scientist. This course is good as many students rush into AI ML but data science is a newly launched batch. At some universities, they don't even have options for science so it is quite good here. It organsies fests.
