Candidate must have passed M.Sc. (H.Sc.) in the Concerned Subject (10+2+4+2 years Degree) from a recognized Institute/ University. M.A. (H.Sc.) degree holders are not eligible. Candidate must be a native of Uttar Pradesh. The definition of Native Settlements (original residences) of Uttar Pradesh is as follows: - Such Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from Uttar Pradesh and have been residing in Uttar Pradesh for the last five years. OR - A resident of India whose father's Place of residence or native place is Uttar Pradesh and who is himself a resident of Uttar Pradesh. OR - A citizen of India whose father's place of residence or native place was not in Uttar Pradesh but who or whose father has acquired residence in Uttar Pradesh, but the period of residence of the candidate in Uttar Pradesh after such acquisition has been for a period of not less than five years till the date of submission of this application.
