No, BRAOU Hyderabad BSc admission is merit-based. Candidates are admitted to the programme based on merit in the last qualifying examination, i.e., Class 12 or equivalent. Moreover, the open university may also offer admission through a eligibility test conducted by the university.  

Yes, Dr Br Ambedkar Open University Hyderabad degree is valid. The University offers three Undergraduate courses, including BA, BCom, and BSc. All the programmes of the University are recognised by Distance Education Bureau (DEB), UGC, New Delhi. At the postgraduate level, the University offers MA, MSc, MCom and MBA courses.
