BRAOU offers more than 25 UG, PG, PG Diploma and certificate programmes in different streams of Arts, Science, Management, etc. At the UG level, the University offers three-year BA, BSc, BCom and other courses to students, while the university offers MA, MSc, MBA, B.Ed, MLISc, etc. programmes at the postgraduate level. Further, BRAOU also offers several PG diploma, certificate programme along with MPhil and PhD courses at the doctoral level.

The placement report 2024 is yet to be release on the official website for the academic year 2023- 2024. However, as per the students’ reviews on Shiksha page, the highest and the lowest package offered during the recent Ambedkar Open University placements stood at INR 10 LPA and INR 2 LPA, respectively. BRAOU Hyderabad is one of the prestigious universities in teh state. It ensures students convenience with services at around 213 study centres across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states. It is approved by RCI and has been accredited with a B+ grade by NAAC. 

BRAOU BSc is a three-year course, which is divided into semester pattern. Some of the specialisations in which the course is offered are Botany, Chemistry, Zoology, etc. These courses are further offered in three mediums, including Telugu, English, and Urdu. Candidates who have passed Class 12 are eligible for admission.

BRAOU Hyderabad admission 2024 commenced from Jan 8, 2024. The last date to apply was Feb 29. Moreover, the applications were accepted with a late of INR 200 till Mar 31. There is no other important admission date available on the open university official website as of now.

Yes, aspirants who do not register within the prescribed timeline have to pay a late fee. The fee charged is INR 200. Candidates have to pay this additional late fee to submit the application after the deadline. The fee payment further shall be accepted via credit card/debit card/net banking.

Candidates shortlisted for admission to BRAOU MBA HHCM course have to participate in the admission counselling. A list of documents are required. The documents that the candidates must carry during the BRAOU MBA HHCM admission counselling are:

• Class 10 certificate for name and age proof
• Migration Certificate in case of candidates other than Dr. BRAOU
• Transfer Certificate from the college where the candidate studied last
• Memoranda of Marks of the qualifying examination
• Provisional Certificate or Original Degree Certificate of the qualifying examination
• the latest Social Category Certificate, if the seat is under a reservation category such as ST, SC, BC
• Hall Ticket of TS/AP ICET – 2023 or BRAOU MBA ET – 2023

The total fee for the BRAOU MLISc programme is INR 6,900.

The total fee for the BRAOU MCom programme is INR 5,000. Additionally, candidates also need to pay a lab fee every year based on the number of subjects chosen.

Students can pursue a wide-range of UG, PG, and Certificate courses through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode at BRAOU. This enables students to pursue education even if they are in a remote place or are working professionals. The open university offers an extensive range of ODL programmes which can be pursued through either online or offline mode. Candidates seeking admission to Dr Br Ambedkar Open University MBA course must have passed graduation of a minimum of three years duration with at least 50% aggregate (45% for reserved category candidates). The fresh graduates from allied subjects vide the Faculty of Engineering/Technology/Medicine/Pharmacy/ Law, and Architecture of any University recognised by the UGC or Charted Accountants/Cost & Works Accountants/ Company Secretaries are also eligible to apply. Dr BR Ambedkar Open University admit candidates to MBA programme on the basis of merit in ICET (Integrated Common Entrance Test conducted by Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States. The open university does not accept past year score. Thus, ICET rank obtained in an academic year is valid for admission in the respective admission year only.

Candidates need to have some important documents copy at the time of BRAOU application form filling. These documents have to be uploaded for verification purposes. The required document are as follows:

• Scanned photocopies of education qualifications (SSC/ School leaving Certificate, Previous educational certificates)
• Scanned photo and signature in the prescribed format
