AU Vishakhapatnam MSc courses are available in both distance learning and full-time mode. Infrastructure: Facilities are good in our college. Wi-Fi will be available in labs and classrooms. Labs are air-conditioned, and the library is well-maintained for students. The quality is good and well maintained in hostels, and the food is good, and medical facilities are also available.

Faculty: Teachers and faculty are helpful for students, and they are well qualified and have good knowledge in subjects, so students can get a good knowledge from them. The semester exams are not difficult, but sometimes it is difficult. If we study, we can pass the exams.

Course is not helpful, teachers do not support, and the facilities are bad.

Placements: I was in the M.Sc. batch. Nearly 60% of students got placed. The highest package was around 7 LPA, the lowest was 2 LPA, and the average was 3.5 LPA. Some companies like TCS and Wipro came for recruitment. Internships were available to a few only, in local labs or IT. Mostly job roles like lab assistant, data entry, or junior analyst were offered.

Infrastructure: Labs were not so good, many things were broken. Wi-Fi worked slowly, and sometimes did not work. Classrooms were old, and fans made noise. The library was big, but the books were very old. The hostel was not clean, the toilets were bad. The mess food was oily and cold. Canteen was little costly. No good medical facilities. Sports ground was not cared for.

Faculty: Teachers had a degree but were not good teachers. They just came, spoke, and went. They were not very helpful to the students. Course did not match the industry needs. No real skill taught. Exams were sometimes hard, and many students failed. Pass percentage was around 60%. Study on your own only if you want to pass.

Other: I chose M.Sc. because I like Science subjects. Some topics were good, but no deep teaching. The teacher did not clear the doubt. No fest, campus mostly silent. The crowd was boring, and no extra activity was conducted. There was no good bus or train nearby. Scholarship system was confused. Need more student support.

Infrastructure: The facilities available in our course include Wi-Fi, labs with AC, and well-maintained classrooms. The library is also available for all students at any time they can go to the library. The hostel is well-maintained, and the food is good.

Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified, and they teach in a good way, we understand well, and the teaching quality is also good. The semester exams are somewhat difficult, but if we try, it's easy to pass the semester exams, and the passing percentage is more than 90%.

Placements: 100% of students got better placements in my department. My seniors all got placed in MNC companies. Seniors are well-settled, and we are waiting for this year's placements. I am very excited and waiting for that moment. The highest salary offered is Rs. 35,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month.

Infrastructure: In my department, we have a good internet connection. There are well-maintained labs. Daily, we use labs, and there are many instruments. Classrooms are very clean. There is a good environment in the room. Our college has a canteen and medical facilities. Sports and games are also conducted every year.

Faculty: Our college has highly educated professors. They have taught good knowledge. Teaching is very helpful, and they have a better experience. The teaching quality is good in the industry. They make students ready for the industry. The pass percentage is good. We have a total of 2 semester examinations in the year.

Other: It conducts a freshers' party and farewell party.

Honest review of my college experience.

Placements: Students are updated with the ongoing demands of different companies and are encouraged for placements. Teachers share some great tips for interviews. There have been a few changes over the years, but the foundation remains strong to this day. It has been a great experience for me.

Infrastructure: The university has hostel facilities for both boys and girls separately. Some new buildings have been constructed for accommodation. Honestly, I was not satisfied with the food provided, especially for dinner. But the breakfast options were far better.

Faculty: Faculty members are really knowledgeable and approachable. The style of teaching varies, but the basic intention of helping students learn the concepts is admirable. They also guide students about the current employment situation and how one should go the extra mile to polish their skills to secure a good and reputed job.

Other: I have never been good at math, and for obvious reasons, my Physics was also not my strong forte. This is why I developed an interest in Chemistry. I chose this course because I wanted theoretical knowledge to be applied in everyday life. This is why I chose Applied Chemistry, which not only includes theory but also a practical approach.
