BRAU MCA Eligibility & Highlights 2024
MCA at BRAU is a two-year programme designed to prepare students for a career in the IT sector. The MCA programme at BRAU incorporates real-world projects, internships, and interactions with industry professionals to provide practical insights and experiences.
Candidates who have a valid graduation degree and a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in graduation are eligible to apply for this programme. MBA admissions in the university take place through the APICET exam.
BRAU MCA Fees 2024
BRAU MCA total tuition fee is INR 37,000. Candidates can pay the full fees one-time or pay it each semester. The semester fee for each semester is then INR 9,250. BRAU is one of the most affordable colleges of Andhra Pradesh to pursue MCA.

BRAU MCA admissions take place through the APICET exam. Candidates seeking admission in the MCA programme at BRAU should appear for the same. The eligibility criteria for securing admission are a valid APICET score and 50% minimum aggregate marks secured in graduation.

Step 1: Apply & Appear for APICET
BRAU MCA admissions take place through the APICET exam. The registration process for the APICET exam 2025 will start in March 2025 and end in April 2025. Candidates should keep checking the examination website for the latest updates regarding APICET.
Step 2: Apply for MCA admissions at BRAU
Once the results of APICET are announced candidates should apply for APICET counselling. In the counselling round candidates can apply for MCA admissions at BRAU.
Step 3: Final document verification & Fee Payment
After the counselling round, candidates can block their seats and apply for admission by visiting the university campus. Final document verifications take place at the university campus in Srikakulam and are necessary to complete the admission process. Candidates should take hard copies of documents that they submitted in the counselling process. The admissions process is finalised once the candidate pays the total tuition fee of INR 37,000.

As per the overall NIRF report 2024 released by the University, the median package offered during UG 4-year placements 2023 stood at INR 3.5 LPA. Further, the median package offered during PG 1-year and PG 2-year placements 2023 stood at INR 1.8 LPA and INR 1.75 LPA, respectively. Earlier, according to the NIRF report 2023, 160 UG and 47 PG students were placed during Dr Br Ambedkar University placements 2022. The median package for UG (4-year) courses was INR 4.5 LPA. For PG (1-year) and PG (2-year) courses, the median package offered during BRAU Srikakulam placements 2022 stood at INR 1.8 LPA.
