Happy with our university, except for our department placement.

Placements: Gautam Buddha University placement was mostly provided in the management department, not in our department, due to which we suffered a lot. Management students got a good package easily. In the management department, they were provided a great placement with the highest package of 68 LPA at Microsoft.

Infrastructure: Classroom and labs were good with a fully air-conditioned department. Labs were well-equipped with modern technology available. We also had a central library. There was a huge library. Hostels were too good. You could easily get a single room for a lower fee with every facility. Good and fresh food was available in the mess. We also had two canteens on the hostel campus. We also had a gym and a sports room in the hostels.

Faculty: Gautam Buddha University faculty members were very good. They were all highly qualified. In our department, all teaching and non-teaching staff completed their Ph.D. Some of them were post-doctorate, and on top of that, half of the faculty completed their master's and Ph.D. from India's top-most colleges and universities, which is why they had great knowledge. Curriculum was up to date with the latest study pattern, and they also conducted two main exams in every semester and tests every month.

Other: It was the best part of this university, I don't think that any college in Greater Noida or in nearby areas was as beautiful as our university. We all had a great campus life here. University support was not only in studies but also in other activities like sports, tech fest, cultural fest, clubs, etc.

Biotechnology from this college is just a waste of money and time.

Placements: No one was placed in my course, even the seniors were not. Companies do not visit here. 0% of students were placed. The labs of the university do not have enough equipment and chemicals for the students to perform their practicals. The students do practicals in groups.

Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms are okay, but the labs do not have the proper chemicals and equipment for the students to perform practicals, even in groups. The canteen is very far from the hostels and departments; only the mess is good. Medical facilities are also not very good, and sports are okay.

Faculty: Teachers are good, and the quality of only some teachers is good, not all. Their rule of conducting mid-semester examinations is very bad. They don't have a proper 6 months for the semester, but still, they conduct mid-semester examinations and then run the syllabus at the fastest speed possible.

Other: This course has a very high scope. The best thing about this course is research, which is not properly going on here. Fests are not good, and the campus crowd is not up to the mark.

Our university is satisfactory.

Placements: In our course, there are no direct placements, but there is a unique opportunity to do a final year research project in DRDO, NPL and other research organisations. You can also join some nano industries and design simulation companies on your preferred choice.

Infrastructure: The hostel is mandatory for all students, but sometimes there is relaxation for girls on the basis of seat allocation. Hostel life here is unique, and there is a single room for every student. The mess facility is also very good compared to other colleges. It is a lush green campus and is attractive. It is spread over more than 551 hectares.

Faculty: Mostly faculty members are qualified here and from IIT Jamia and JNU. The physics department is also DST funded, but GBU exam pattern is slightly tough. However, you can achieve very good marks here if you are willing. Here applied course is much advanced than the university's traditional course. You have an edge during interviews because you would have performed some research work already.

Other: Every year a fest is organised within the university, but due to Covid-19 situations, dates will differ. Otherwise, it would have held in the month of October and November only.

I am satisfied with this university because of its environment.

Placements: This college does provide job opportunities for students after they complete the course. At least 60% of marks were required to sit for placements. The college extends all support to secure a good job in form of training. The salary offered was not very high though.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good. The classrooms had sufficient space with a Wi-Fi connection. Laboratories were also there for the students which were well maintained and equipped. The hostel facility was provided to the students. The medical emergency was also taken care of on the campus.

Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and qualified. The quality of teaching was satisfactory. All the concepts were explained well and a clear understanding of students was the prime concern. The course curriculum was relevant, and it make the students ready for jobs in this field.
