A little bit expensive, but a nice college.
Placements: 75-80% of students were placed in our course. The highest package offered in this course is 7-8 LPA, and the minimum package is 3-4 LPA. The top recruiting companies in this course are HCL, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, etc. 60-75 percent of students got internships from our course. Many other tech companies' top roles offered in this course are software development and app development.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is average. Wi-Fi is working properly, but the lab chair is not comfortable. The library is nice, but the classroom is not perfect, it's a hostel, and there are all facilities like AC, Wi-Fi, and medical facilities are also available. In sports, they concentrate on volleyball. Indore games are not available.
Faculty: The faculty is nice, teacher is very supportive in everything. Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. 60 to 70 teachers are available for this college. This course curriculum is relevant, it makes students industry-ready. The semester or exam is moderate, not very difficult, and not very easy. The pass percentage is 80-90.
Other: I chose this course because from this course we get an opportunity to work in a core company. This college is a little bit expensive, but nice infrastructure and a nice campus. Scholarship is given by the government in this college for the general category. There is are low probability of getting a scholarship, and for OBC and other castes, the scholarship is given 100%.

B.A. (Hons.) in English - Batch of 2028
2.8

One should come and check the fee structure of their respective course in an offline way.
Placements: There's no placement for my course because it's B.A. HONS English but yes it helps people to enhance their communication skills and learn a lot which will for sure help in finding jobs because English is the bare minimum which is required to get a job.
Infrastructure: When it comes to infrastructure, this college beats many popular colleges. It's a big college on about 600+ sq feet of land. The library and departments are good and well-maintained, but the problem lies in their Ethernet connection, which really needs to be fixed.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable (as of my course). You can't get a placement from this college with a B.A. course, but yes, you will gain some valuable skills if you take part in activities that will help you to gain confidence and socialize. The semester exams are moderate to tough. If you study, you will definitely pass, but if you don't, you will not. The pass percentage is 70-80%.
Other: I chose this course because I want to prepare for some competitive exam, so this course won't take a lot of time out of my day. The best thing about this course is that it's easy. The thing that can be improved is the management of the schedule; sometimes, even the teachers are confused whether it's a working day or a holiday for some reason. Events and tests also happen here and are good for a bit of entertainment.

B.Sc. (Hons.) in Biotechnology - Batch of 2028
2.6

Decent faculty, average college life.
Placements: There are no placements for this course; you’ll have to find internships and job opportunities entirely on your own. The college doesn’t have a proper placement cell or industry tie-ups for biotech, so don’t expect any campus drives or company visits. If you’re counting on placements after graduation, this isn’t the place for it.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the biotech course is decent when it comes to wet labs; they’re functional and good enough for basic practicals. The dry labs are pretty much a joke since most of the computers don’t even work. The hostel isn’t great either, girls are locked in after 7 PM, which feels more restrictive than safe. Overall, it’s alright if you only care about labs and classrooms, but don’t expect much beyond that.
Faculty: The faculty in the biotech department is well-qualified and teaches the core subjects properly. They’re generally approachable if you reach out. The curriculum is standard; it covers the basics well enough, but doesn’t push beyond that or offer much extra exposure. So if you want to learn more or get hands-on beyond routine practicals, you’ll mostly have to take that initiative yourself.
Other: The crowd is pretty average, nothing too competitive or inspiring. As for the fests and events, they’re honestly a letdown. Mostly a way to take more money from students while bringing in unknown artists and offering very little in return. If you’re expecting vibrant college life or memorable events, you’ll likely be disappointed.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com Hons.) - Batch of 2025

Campus is quite good and study is above average, and its study depends on students.
Placements: Placements are not such as they mention on their website. The average package is about 3 to 4 LPA for B.Com students from the campus. Generally, big companies do not approach this university.
Infrastructure: Gautam Buddha University campus is good and spacious, but the management of the campus is poor. All sports facilities are there: volleyball, badminton, cricket, tennis, etc. Tournaments are held for volleyball, cricket, and all. It is a very big university, so it helps the students to walk and feel relaxed.
Faculty: Faculty members, the teachers, are good and knowledgeable, and are highly qualified. They give time to students. And if we talk about the difficulty level of the paper, it is average or above average, not so difficult. If you score more than 4 CGPA, you will be promoted to the next semester.
Other: They don't do regular events. Only 1 to 2 events in the whole year.

Everything is alright except placements here with awesome campus.
Placements: The average salary package offered at GBU is 5 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. Almost 75% of students get placed in 2023. As you know, most CSE students get placements. Other departments are worse in B.Tech. Top recruiters are TCS, Wipro, and Grow. My seniors got off-campus internships as they have skills. To my knowledge, GBU helps us to get internships but don't rely on them.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty awesome here. You have an air-conditioned hostel in the first year. After that, it depends on which hostel you choose from the 2nd year. The campus is spread over 511 acres of land. It has everything inside it like a library, many sports facilities, an indoor and outdoor stadium, a gym, and a shopping complex. You have the ethernet facility in every room with average speed. All computer-related courses have good classrooms and a lab with full air conditioning. The library is pretty large and it avails you with all course-related books. Every student gets a single seater room which is the best thing in the university. I could say that mess food is better than most of Noida's university and tiffins services. Canteen and food stalls are available near the classes and hostels. It is not very cheap or costly. Dispensary is available and GIMS which is the government hospital in Gbu, where medical students practice is pretty good. You will get every sport here, and a well-maintained stadium, except swimming.
Faculty: My teachers were good in the first semester. They were very qualified and taught us well.. The curriculum is similar to other universities and colleges. As you know, universities and colleges do not make you industry-ready. You have to work on your own. A semester exam is not a headache, so you can do well in that with a week or two weeks of studies and focus on your skills. But a lot of students got back because they didn't take it seriously.
Other: I have an interest in CSE. I used to code before college. Also, I don't have good academic records in 11th and 12th so I left with the only option to take admission here. Here, academic pressure is not that much, you can focus on your skills. Things could be better if the college would train you for the industries. It creates a coding environment and awareness among students. Few events happen, fests are rare, and the campus crowd is not good except for a few. If you are ST/SC, you have to pay half of the fees and there are a lot of schemes for scholarships.
