Dissatisfied with the management and authorities.
Placements: The college itself does not provide any placements, and no companies come to the university for recruitment. Seniors who pass out either pursue their Master’s from other colleges or start working by finding jobs on their own. Internships are an academic requirement every semester in the course, but the university does not provide internship opportunities either.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good, but facilities are quite poor. University claims to have air-conditioned classrooms and charges fees accordingly, but there are no AC services in the Psychology Department. No Wi-Fi is provided by the department. I stayed in the hostel during the first year but left due to gender discrimination and the lack of proper inspection of food and water quality. Medical and sports facilities are fine. The library is very big and useful. There is no canteen inside the university, but there are food spots in the shopping complex and around campus.
Faculty: The teaching quality of most teachers are average. This semester, most faculty members are not even available to teach during lectures. Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is very relevant, with proper practical application of the syllabus. The semester examinations are moderately difficult, neither too hard nor too easy. The question papers are well-designed in my opinion. Around 60–70 percent of the class passes the exams.
Other: Fests are not very exciting. Clubs are not funded properly by university. The infrastructure and campus beauty are among the main attractions of the university. The management can improve the handling of fees and facilities. Student complaints are also not handled properly.

Decent infrastructure, but poor placement & academic support.
Placements: I'm from the BCA 2027 batch at Gautam Buddha University and the placement ratio is very poor here with only 30 to 40 percent of students got placed. Mostly, low-paying roles are offered. The average package offered is 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Internships are mostly self-paid or self-managed. Just don't trust the infrastructure but on academics.
Infrastructure: The campus is huge and the buildings are decent, but issues like Wi-Fi, maintenance, and comfortable classrooms are the problems. Hostels provided single rooms. The hygiene and washroom conditions are very disappointing. Walls and doors are filled with unwanted graphics.
Faculty: Some teachers are very qualified and have prior knowledge of their subject. Faculty and academics are quite average. The teaching quality is consistent. The curriculum is decent but outdated. Looking at the current decision, the placement support from the college is nil.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in computer coding and the best part is that the syllabus will cover all the basics of IT concepts. The campus is quite peaceful. I wish the course to be more practical and industry-oriented as per the updated curriculum and better placement support. Events are happening at a very basic level not that fun. You will find here that the crowd is quite disappointing as many Jaat Gujars are pursuing their degrees here. Also, connectivity is a big issue here.

Review of Gautam Buddha University.
Placements: GBU (Gautam Buddha University) has many different programs like B.Tech, Psychology, BBA, etc. Many companies visit the college, take interviews, and hire students for internships. It depends on the ability of students whether they will be selected or not.
Infrastructure: The library is a peaceful place where we can relax our minds and study. The hostel rooms are neat and clean. The food is not that good. For sports, GBU has different stadiums and grounds for each sport.
Faculty: Exams are not that difficult. It makes students industry-ready. Professors also support students to participate in extracurricular activities. They are helpful and well-qualified in the psychology department. There are mostly female professors, and they are so understanding.
Other: Personally, I love the psychology course, so I chose this course. In our department, teachers and seniors are so friendly. They will always guide us in the right way and tell us what we have to improve. The college supports the LGBTQ community. People are so humble in our department. There are many clubs and societies, such as drama, fashion, dance, etc.

Is Gautam Buddha University good to go or not?
Placements: Only 10% of students are placed in my total batch course. The highest, lowest, and average package offered in my course is Rs. 2,40,000-Rs. 3,30,000. Top recruiting companies for my batch are TCS, Wipro, V2, and the college doesn't provide any internships or jobs. All that comes is for sales only.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is awesome, very good, and the facilities are also very good. There is Wi-Fi in the library and labs for students to study. Some classrooms have projectors, and a few do not. Hostel facilities are below average; boys' and girls' hostels are separate, and wardens are there to take care of them. The food quality is average, not very bad. There is no medical room, but there is a sports room and games on campus.
Faculty: There are only two exams that are conducted in a semester: one internal and one semester exam held within the campus only. Faculty are well qualified; they are all Ph.D. holders and are very supportive. The management is also good. The curriculum is good, but there is no practical exposure and experience given.
Other: The best thing about this course is that it's one of the demanding courses and provides knowledge of finance and economics, which makes us industry-ready. There are very few fests held in the college. No concerts or extra events. Scholarships are provided. The only advantage is that it is a government college.

I am satisfied with my college experience and recommend Gautam Buddha University for higher studies.
Placements: In my course, B.Tech in computer science and engineering, placements are decent and above average. In my batch, around 40-50 percent of students have received a PPO till now from the college placement drive. The average package offered is 6 LPA, and the highest package offered is around 12 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, Wipro, HCL, and Tech Mahindra. 70 percent of students got internships during the internship scheme. Full-stack web developer, software developer, and software engineer are the top roles offered by companies.
Infrastructure: It has a great and beautiful infrastructure, which is spread over 511 acres. It has facilities like a shopping complex and multiple cafes on campus. There are multiple playgrounds for different outdoor sports like cricket, football, and courts for lawn tennis. There is a separate indoor stadium for badminton, and other indoor sports are also available. Hostel provides single non-sharing and personal rooms with 24x7 electricity and internet connection through LAN. Mess food quality is good and hygienic. It provides 4 meals a day.
Faculty: Faculty members are really helpful, supportive, and highly qualified from the top institutes of the country. They provide notes and study materials to students. They also provide personal guidance. The course curriculum is totally designed according to industry level. They teach almost every subject. There are 2 exams per semester, mid-semester and end-semester. A 4 CGPA is the minimum passing criteria in Gautam Buddha University to go to the next year.
Other: I wanted to pursue my career in the tech field, so I chose Computer Science. I wish the college would teach more industry-oriented things rather than useless subjects that are not asked for by companies. The university has various clubs such as dance, music, and drama clubs. The university conducts various events like DJ nights and concerts each semester. The UP government provides scholarships to students of GBU according to the income certificate.

This is a semi-government college.
Placements: Around 75 to 80 percent of students are placed in our course. The highest package offered in this course is 7 to 8 LPA, and the minimum package is 3 to 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies in this course include HCL, Wipro, TCS, and Cognizant. Around 60 to 70 percent of students get internships from our course in companies like Wipro and others. The top roles offered in this course are Software Developer and App Developer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is average. Wi-Fi does not work properly. Lab chairs are not comfortable. The library is nice, but the classrooms are not perfect. Hostels have all facilities like AC, Wi-Fi, and medical facilities. In sports, they focus on volleyball, while indoor games are not available.
Faculty: Faculty is nice. Teachers are very supportive in everything. Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Around 60 to 70 teachers are available for this college. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate, not very difficult, and not very easy. The pass percentage is 80 to 90.
Other: I chose this course because it gives an opportunity to work in core companies. Scholarships are given by the government. For the general category, the probability is low, and for OBC and other reserved categories, scholarships are given 100 percent.

Gautam Buddha University is considered a decent option for studying law in BA LLB/BBA LLB particularly for its experienced faculty, infrastructure & affordable fee structure. It is a state-owned university approved by BCI.
