The Government Siddha Medical College, Chennai is quite strict when it comes to the eligibility requirements of Bachelor of Siddha Medicine & Surgery (BSMS). The c&idate should have studied Tamil as one of the subjects in 10th or 12th St&ard. C&idates who have not studied Tamil shall have to study Tamil as an additional subject during the First Professional B.S.M.S session for 18 months. Admission will be done based on the NEET Score, reservation norms of Govt. of India & as per the regulations.

The documents required for eligibility verification during B.Sc. in Nursing admissions at GITAM University Vishakhapatnam are:

To be eligible for direct admission to the Bachelor of Siddha Medicine & Surgery (BSMS) course at Government Siddha Medical College, Chennai, c&idates must have:

Refund Policy:
₹20,000 will be deducted by GIMSR on re-allocation of seat.
No refund of fee if the candidate resigns after counseling.
Refund of fee (after deducting ₹20,000) will be processed within 5 working days.

To get admission to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, candidates must:
1. Qualify the undergraduate National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) with the score prescribed by the National Medical Council (NMC).
2. Be at least 17 years old on or before 31st December of the admission year.
3. Have completed their intermediate / H.S.C / +2 or equivalent with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Botany & Zoology, meeting the minimum marks required by the National Medical Council (NMC).
4. Register for NEET - UG Counseling conducted online by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), DGHS, New Delhi.
5. Report to the GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (GIMSR) with original certificates/documents and payment of tuition fees.
6. Submit the required documents, including MCC allotment letter, NEET UG 2025 Hall Ticket / Admit card, NEET UG 2025 Result / Rank letter, 10th Marks card or equivalent, 12th Marks card or equivalent, and others.
7. Pay the prescribed fee, which is ₹25,37,000 for Management/Paid Seats and $45,000 for NRI Seats.
