GITAM Visakhapatnam Application Process
GITAM Visakhapatnam admission process starts with filling in an application. The application form is available on the official site of the university to prospective candidates. The application form has to be duly filled. It may be uploaded or sent to the department accordingly. On completion, the applicants will be expected to pay online application and entrance test fees. Two copies of online bank challan and the payment confirmation have to be attached to the application form. GAT application fee is INR 1,200 (non-refundable) for a single group course and the fee can be submitted online.
Selection Rounds
Different courses at GITAM Visakhapatnam are admitted based on a mix of university level entrance test, as well as national/ state level entrance test scores. In undergraduate courses, including BTech BSc and BBA. Applicants might be required to take GAT (GITAM Admission Test) which is administered by the university. In other cases, exam results such as JEE Main can be taken into account. Postgraduate programmes such as the MBA are selected by including the results of various tests such as GAT CAT, MAT XAT, CMAT NMAT, ATMA or GMAT.
Release and Counselling of merit lists.
After all selection rounds are concluded, shortlisted candidates are expected to attend counselling process of specific courses that they plan to take. Then the GITAM Visakhapatnam will publish merit lists. The lists are used to denote selected candidates in different rounds. Students featured in merit list by name will have to ensure that they get admission. Candidates need to pay GITAM Visakhapatnam fee to confirm allocated seat.
