GITAM University Vizag Campus offers scholarships to students as financial assistance. The top-performing students are provided Merit Scholarships. The below-mentioned are the various type of scholarships at GITAM University Vizag:
- Hostel Scholarships - Students awarded merit scholarships will also receive an additional 20% scholarship for hostel fees (including food and Non-AC accommodation) at GITAM for merit scholarship slabs: 15%, 25%, 40%, and 60%.
- Need-Based Scholarships - To be eligible for the need-based scholarship, the combined income of both parents/guardians of the eligible student, or in case of a married student, the combined income of the student and spouse, must be less than 16.00 LPA for Tuition Fee ≥ 2.00 LPA and less than 08.00 LPA for Tuition Fee
- Merit Scholarships - The university gives 100% merit based scholarship to the students with a CGPA >= 8.0 in GBAT/GAT or National/State Entrance Exams.
- Employee Children Scholarships - The children of GITAM employees admitted in full-time courses can avail 60%, 40%, 25%, and 15% scholarships, not exceeding a total combined scholarship of 75%.
- Loyalty Scholarships - Scholarship of 10% is available for alumni returning for higher studies, children of alumni, real or step siblings (not applicable to cousins), children of retired employees of GITAM, and spouses of GITAM employees.
- Sports Scholarships - Scholarships are given in the slabs of 100%, 75%, 60%, 40%, 25%, and 15% of the tuition fee. For exceptional cases, subsidized or free accommodation may be provided at GITAM student residences.
