After filling out the GIMSR MS application form, students must participate in the NEET PG counselling process conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), DGHS. Students who wish to take admission to the GIMSR MD courses are required to participate in the NEET PG counselling with a valid NEET PG score. The application fees to participate in the counselling differ based on the refundable and nonrefundable categories. The refundable application fees for deemed universities is INR 2 lakh. Yes, in order to support students enrolled in the MD/MS programme, GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Visakhapatnam, provides a monthly stipend. For the first year, students are offered INR 44,075 per month. From the second year, students get a monthly stipend of INR 46,524.
